    First timers to Hedo III

So us newbies are excited on both hands and also do not know what to expect on the other when we get there.............so we had some random questions that we hoped to get some advice and feedback from ya'll that have been to Hedo III:

    1. Should we bring evening theme outfits prior to arriving or do they sell stuff there? How does one know what type of outfit to bring and where do people buy them?

    2. What events and activities are a MUST and which ones should be low on the list.

    3. What percentage of couples would you say are lifestyle vs non-lifestyle during a typical week.

    4. Do people typically party and hang out non stop 24 hours all day and nite sort of thing? If couples are in the lifestyle is there "playing" that happens during the day? We always fantasized about a morning playdate..LOL..but never did. Just wondered what sort of naughty activity goes on throughout the day.

    5. We are staying in a pool front room - is that better, worse then others and is location really a big deal?

    6. How do couples with kids deal with phone calls and what do they tell their families where they are going? we were told that if you call the hotel directly they answer "hello Hedo II..." which we would not want our kids to know! Are their calling cards to buy so it's not crazy $$$ if we used our cells or hotel phone?

    7. How is the food and who wants to get bloated anyway

    8. How is the gym facility..we are gym rats so wanted to know if it is decent.

    9. Are there many single guys and single gals that go to Hedo III?

    Aprreciate any feedback and advice!

    ciao

We are first timers also and like the questions you posted... anxious to see the replies.

We are bringing theme night clothing and plan on participating in most of them if not all of them. We will definitely be there for PJ night, Toga night, Pirate/Wench night, and Schoolgirl night... but I imagine we will be there for all of them.

We are gym rats also. I intend to hit the gym each day for an hour if I can make it there before I start drinking! At least that is the good intention plan...

We will be there for the first time at Hedo 3 June 12-19. I hope some of the veterans reply to your post.

Wow, you opened the proverbial can of worms on this thread! (In a good way) So sit back, relax and watch the info fly.

As for the gym, couple of treadmills, free weights, a universal machine, not alot of space to jump around though if your rather aerobic.

The food is resort quality, breakfasts are the best, plenty of protein and fruits and vegetables. I just couldnt seem to drink or get enough water the past 4 times we were there.

Any of the games by the EC's (enter. crew) are fun, my favorite is Jamaican trivia, I think after a while you just want to chill, but maybe not. They are a busy bunch of people.

Never stayed in a pool front room. The Quad can get really loud late at night, and you need retreat. We always opt for a ocean or garden view if we can. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask. It'll work wonders.

We always tell people we are staying at another resort, when the bus stops there, get off and take a picture in the front of the resort, then use your discretion at your destination. Beware of H3 nude photo rules. Cant tell you enough, of the dangers so to speak of that. The sex police will find you and a wary nude pool attendee might call you out too. Early, early morning photos at nude pool/areas fine. Never when people are around.

As for single guys and gals, hmmm over the past 4 years we have seen both, never a large amount. You will be able to find what your looking for there rather quickly, be friendly, set your rules beforehand, and have fun mostly. The situation ALWAYS presents itself.

Again cant tell you of the percentages of lifestyle cpls either. Never really asked. They are there.

As for the partying, seems to start around 12pm or so and can go all night literally. Depends on the mood of the crowd there. We have had plenty of very dull and quiet nights, and crazy ones as well.

So in retrospect I could probably write a small book on this, but dont have the time. I highly recommend you read the trip reports though, you'll find alot of info there. Good luck have fun, and have a great time.

    Good questions!
    1. Should we bring evening theme outfits prior to arriving or do they sell stuff there? How does one know what type of outfit to bring and where do people buy them?
The themes can be located here: http://www.4hedonism.com/theme-nights/hedo3

Buy before you go- there will be little to no access to things appropriate for the themes on the resort. There are many places online to buy. Some of the links here are good. The sluttier the better.

    2. What events and activities are a MUST and which ones should be low on the list.
Don't miss the body shots or the scene after dinner each night at the main bar. The ladies are always dressed to the 9's and it is a fantastic place to socialize and look at the eye candy of both genders.

    3. What percentage of couples would you say are lifestyle vs non-lifestyle during a typical week.
This is a gray area as there are lots of different levels of what people consider "lifestyle". In a general sense I would put it at 50-50 based on our experiences at the resort.

    4. Do people typically party and hang out non stop 24 hours all day and nite sort of thing? If couples are in the lifestyle is there "playing" that happens during the day? We always fantasized about a morning playdate..LOL..but never did. Just wondered what sort of naughty activity goes on throughout the day.
Playing can be happening at any time. I would say generally most of it goes down after the sun does. You will see PDA's all day and night as well.

    5. We are staying in a pool front room - is that better, worse then others and is location really a big deal?
Poolfront rooms are a nice location- easy access to the bathroom if you are hanging at the quad, and normally- not always- the quad is a little quieter at night than the nude pool.

    6. How do couples with kids deal with phone calls and what do they tell their families where they are going? we were told that if you call the hotel directly they answer "hello Hedo II..." which we would not want our kids to know! Are their calling cards to buy so it's not crazy $$$ if we used our cells or hotel phone?
Our family knows we go to a resort with limited access to phone and internet. We take Kerry's phone with the int'l plan on it and check for messages twice a day. We usually call home once each stay just to check on the kiddo. Other people can speak to it, but I believe you can also rent a cel at the airport. Not sure.

    7. How is the food and who wants to get bloated anyway
Depends on where you eat and what your normal taste is. We love food, but we are not gourmands by any stretch of the imagination. The food is generally good, but sometimes there is a swing and a miss. We prefer bar food, so there is always something we like. We gain weight from the alcohol more than the food I think.

    8. How is the gym facility..we are gym rats so wanted to know if it is decent

    As described above. Not great.

    9. Are there many single guys and single gals that go to Hedo III?

There are generally more single men than women in our experience- making the odds pretty good for the single ladies. I would put the ratio of couples to singles overall at 20 to 1 or so.

Again- this is just based on our experiences. We have gone the same time of year (august) for the last 5 years, other times of year may be drastically different.

    Enjoy!
Nick (and the wonderful Kerry who is at the moment in Oregon)

Yes, bring them from home. Adult toy stores, online, costume stores are good ideals. Also, find somewhere that sells risque club wear or stripper clothes. Just be you, dress how YOU will be comfortable
    2. What events and activities are a MUST and which ones should be low on the list. everything at the nude pool is a must!!! Since the quad squad will be there, the quad should be pretty happening too!

    3. What percentage of couples would you say are lifestyle vs non-lifestyle during a typical week. I think it really depends on the group that is there. When I have been there, it has been like 60/40 with swingers being the majority.

    4. Do people typically party and hang out non stop 24 hours all day and nite sort of thing? If couples are in the lifestyle is there "playing" that happens during the day? We always fantasized about a morning playdate..LOL..but never did. Just wondered what sort of naughty activity goes on throughout the day. yes, there is probably people partying at all times--somewhere. it just may not be a "public" party

    5. We are staying in a pool front room - is that better, worse then others and is location really a big deal? We will be in a pool front this trip for the first time. We have been in the quad twice and never had a problem. It can be a little loud at times, but if you drink alot..you probably will not have a problem going to sleep after a typical days activities anyway. LOL!

    6. How do couples with kids deal with phone calls and what do they tell their families where they are going? we were told that if you call the hotel directly they answer "hello Hedo II..." which we would not want our kids to know! Are their calling cards to buy so it's not crazy $$$ if we used our cells or hotel phone? We try to call our kids every couple of days. We just take our cell phone or buy a throw away just for the trip and only give the number to our family.

    7. How is the food and who wants to get bloated anyway We have always enjoyed it! Pastafari is our favorite! But spend alot of time at Scotch Bonnett--you gotta try the bread OMG!!!!

    8. How is the gym facility..we are gym rats so wanted to know if it is decent.
It has looked okay from a distance..we are PLANNING on using it this time.
    9. Are there many single guys and single gals that go to Hedo III? Again, I think it varies with groups, but have seen more single guys there (mostly locals), but we have seen several single girls there as well. Ratio--no clue!!!

Hope that helped some! See you there!
