Would like to know for being a first timer to Hedo. If I go. How to I get into the groove. Would It look weird for a single guy to just show up? How does a bashful person do this. Who just wants a new experience?
As well Is end of June a bad time to go? weather etc?
I got into the groove by getting onto the bus at the airport. Say Hello to those folks. Ask them to which resort they are going. Tell them it' "your first time." Vets are MORE than happen to bring another into the fold.
Just relax, grab a beer, head to the pool/dinner/wherever. People are friendly. They don't BITE! Well...maybe, everything's negotiable. :-)
Join in the activities with the ECs(Entertainment coordinators--staff). Next thing you know, you'll have a life long grin that won't go away!
I have a single guy trip report on here from Mar 08 and two on dennyp.com (07 and 08). I recommend reading. Keep on these forums. You may make friends before you get there.
Go with no expectations other than complete relaxation and FUN!!
