Get comfortable because this will be long. This was my first trip to Hedo 2, but the 5th for my wife. She prepared me for Hedo very well and nothing came at me as a surprise.
OK, before I get started...though some of the details may seem that we didn't have a good time, let me tell you now...we had a great time at Hedo 2 and I intend to keep going back.
The trip was uneventful , though Immigration at the airport was a circus. Three planes landed within 5 minutes of each other, so there were well over 500 people trying to process through Immigration. There was a lot of confusion, but we got through it.
We met our driver, Brown, at the airport, we were loaded up and on our way. Most of the folks on the bus were going to Hedo and the laughs started right away. We stopped for a Red Stripe and continued on the "new" road. The bus trip took 1.5 hours, but it was a lot of fun.
Check-in was a bit long because there were new people being trained at the front desk. We went to our room, nude side oceanview, and I thought the room was fine. My wife and I had no complaints about the room. The AC worked very well...I liked that I could control the exact temperature for the room. We had plenty of drawer space, closest space and even a bunch of hangars. Any place can have improvements and a refrigerator in each room would be fantastic. There are new TVs in each room with a full compliment of cable stations from New York.
Lee and I were at the nude pool within minutes of getting to our room. I had no problems getting naked and it felt very natural. We spent all of our days at the nude pool because it was so much fun. We met the friendliest people in the world. Between drinking, talking and a lot of laughing it was a great way to spend the day. Delroy kept the drinks coming, the grill kept all of us fed and the people made us laugh so hard we lost our voices by the 5th day. There were all types of people and bodies there. I got an extra bonus because Lee was naked all day...seeing her naked makes me crazy...she is so HOT. In fact, on our first time in the warming tub, a single guy told me that he wouldn't hit on my wife as long as I was with her at all times.
On our second night, Lee and I were dancing in the main stage area. She fell on the steps and twisted both ankles badly. She was on crutches for 2 days, then hobbled around for the remaining 5 nights. She was determined that nothing, not even a sprained ankle, would keep her from enjoying Hedo2. In fact, there were several accidents there where folks got hurt due to the disrepair of the facility.
The food was okay, though we enjoyed the abundance of new fruit and breads. I also liked the hours of the buffet because we could eat almost anytime we wanted to. The food at Pastafari's was very good. It was strange being given a menu with no prices on it. I liked the jerk chicken, the passion fruit and the breakfast buffet.
The entertainment was weak. Though there was a daily schedule of "planned" activities, all the EC crew ever did was set up games of bocce ball and ring toss. If you go to Hedo hoping to do a lot of different things, just plan to do them on your own.
There were some problems such as the stalker outside the Women's restroom at the nude pool. There was a guy grabbing women as they exited the restroom and tried to accost them. Only after 4 different women complained was anything done. The "guest" was escorted off the property.
We also had to sign papers stating there would be no photogrpahy of anyone nude. One night a washed-up actor was at Hedo 2 trying to videotape his wife and others dancing nude on the main stage. When folks complained, he was told to stop. Then he tried to keep taping and he got into an argument with several other patrons. After all was said and done, he stopped taping but he had his wife and her friends harass the woman that originally complained about him. Don't washed up actors have anything better to do than to look pathetic in public?
We packed way too many clothes. It would be better to stock up on sunscreen than take more clothes.
Toga night was a farce. First, there were no sheets given to anyone for toga night. When I went to the dining area in my toga, there were only 3 or 4 others in togas. The games were suppose to start at 7:00PM, but by 8:30PM, everyone went back to their rooms and changed. The EC crew didn't even show up until 9:00PM to begin the games. As I said, plan your own entertainment.
As for PDAs...yes, we saw some each day, but it didn't go overboard. One day a couple had sex on a raft at the beach. Everyone on the beach gave them a standing ovation and someone sent them a bottle of champagne for thei efforts. That was pretty funny. We saw the occasional oral sex and one day there were 6 people going at it on one side of the nude pool. PDAs were pretty much confined to the appropriate places. Though I never visited the hot tub at night, I heard that it was as active as ever near Midnight.
The people...where do I begin. The people are the main reason for so much fun there. There was Tommy, Norm, Debbie, Mike, Bob, Liz (there were 4 women named Liz), the folks from Utah (those Mormons are crazy), Delroy and so many others. Michelle was completely off the hook and made me laugh so hard that it hurt my sides. The facility is alright, but the people were fantastic. This is the real reason to go back to Hedo 2...the people.
I met police officers from England, businessmen from Australia, and all types from the USA. All were great and loads of fun. We enjoyed the piano bar, the nude beach and pool, having a rockpainted for us and placed at Hedo, and all of it.
Yes, Lee was hobbled by her sprained ankle but she never let it interfere with our activities. She could have complained a lot and ruined our vacation, but she did everything in her power to make sure my first time to Hedo 2 was a success. Mission accomplished Babe.
One thing for sure...I'm going back to Hedo 2 and my experience there made gave me many more reasons to fall in love with my wife over and over.
As for finding ganga...no problem mon. It was everywhere and never a problem for anyone. We smoked at the pool, near the Piano Bar, and at the nude beach. As long as we didn't flaunt it in the faces of others, no one bothered us.
To summarize, though Lee was injured, she made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Babe. To all the others I met...thank you for some of the best fun in a very long time. Lee and I are already thinking about spending New Year's Eve at Hedo 2.
Now we need a few days to recover from Hedo 2. Love those dirty bananas.
