Seriously, we don't know when we are returning yet. The suspense is killing me. Since October 2006, I have either been at Hedo, or counting down to my next trip. I simply don't know what to do with myself in these times of uncertainty... BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

if this is what i think it is...monkeys, elephants, etc made out of the bath towels, then it's one of those things that is taught within the hospitality industry. First time i ran into it was 1995 on a Caribbean cruise - my elementary aged kids thought it was the neatest stuff...especially since they'd grab your sunglasses and slap them on the animal. Once or twice i had an 'anatomically' correct male jungle dweller up on my rack where the kids wouldn't notice it. Now, the B&B we go to after our club socials even does it - in the middle of Pennsyltucky!!Something that we did experience, that we had not read about in any trip report, was the "Towel Art" that our "In Room Attendant" (they are not called maids) left us each day. I won't go into details here so that you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were but it is something unique to Hedo that we had never experienced anywhere else in the world.
did you get pix?? i'd love to see them. i'm amazed by what they can do, especially since towels are NOT the easiest thing to shape with all that bulk.
and GREAT TRIP REPORT...i started it over on dennyp but figured you wouldn't miss posting it here either...and this is much easier to read. we'll just miss you in january - we can wave to each other as we pass at the airport!!
