    Airport to Hedo

Just wondering how things are going to go when we get to Jamaica. Does Hedo have a lounge in the airport like some other resorts do? And also, do they still have the little vans to transport between there and Hedo, or are they using bigger busses that all 10 of us will be able to get on? Thanks so much for your help! Only 10 days to go! I can't wait, it's 22 degrees and snowing here today;(

Superclubs has a lounge where you check into (both Hedo's are part of the superclub chain). Once in the lounge they will let you know when it is time to go....we ususally just watch our bags and when they get put on the cart to go...we go too. There are a number of busses and vans the take you to hedo..you all should be able to go together.

    Thumbs up

The lounge is just a quick lay over to the bus and bliss. They use vans and buses depending on when you arrive and how many people are going that direction. They also do mix Hedo folks with others going to other Super Clubs resorts. One year there were 6 of us going to Hedo 3, they loaded us in van and our luggage in another van that followed us to Hedo 3.

By all means, on your way to the bus/van, once out the door, turn right, the bar is right there, and pick-up some beers in a bag of ice, oh, and they are not twist offs, so prepare accordingly. My experience has been, the wait to get on the bus/van isn't long enough to get a drink, but there is also a bar outside the Superclubs lounge.

Thanks for the help! I am kind of a freak about planning, and I like to know exactly how things are going to go, I know I can't do that when it is coming to flying and Jamaica, but all your answers have helped calm my nerves a little.....atleast for now!

We were just in Runaway Bay last week. The drive/ride to Hedo III is all of about one hour now!!!!!

I can wait for almost anything for an hour.

They have all different sizes of vehicles. We have had everything from a little minivan to a minibus to a full size tour bus. Every one of the rides has been great.

We always get a few drinks at the Margaritaville right around the corner from the lounge while we wait. We like to start the party as soon as we hit the lounge. My beautiful wife loves margaritas and that is her last chance to get a decent margarita for the week.

As one "planning freak" to another: Give up right now! Jamaica does not lend itself to any kind of planning. Just roll with it, no matter what "it" is.
