    Hedo II Vets....Theft.

Heading to Hedo II the end of the month. Haven't seen this subject in any of the forums as of yet. Has anyone heard of items being stolen??? ie...camera while swiming, etc... Would hate to lose any pics not to mention the camera. Had a camera stolen years ago while swiming...kinda gun shy iffn ya know what I mean. Really looking forward to this adventure as it's our first time. Thanks.

We were there a few years ago, and I left my camera on a lounge chair at night when we were on the beach being.....romantic. Augustus had it for me the next morning. Hope all have had positive experiences as well.

We just got back and didn't have anything stolen. We did lock valuables in the safe. About our third night we discovered the safe was not bolted down and you could actually pick it up and take it out of the closet. Again we had no trouble but check your safe before you put anything in it and make sure its secure

    Thefts

Just returned from H2 over NYE. Myself/roomie left our oceanview room window open almost 24/7 and we quite often forgot and left valuable things out on the bed or dresser. Anyone walking past could have looked in an saw the items but no one bothered anything. I often left my cell phone and other valuables in my bag while swimming in the ocean or going to get food or drinks. Again no one touched anything. But I guess each crowd is different. My crowd was awesome.

We are going in March, the 17th thru the 24th. Hope you have a wonderful time and have good reports for us. A little nervous after some of the reviews we have read.

I usually put our camera under my towel or in the little beach bag I bring. Trip # 24 coming up in early April & the only thing we've had stolen was a few blow up dolls and a pair of Chris's nasty old sandals.

    Have a great time!
