Reggae Vibrations will have you rocking as the crew turns up the volume. Includes snorkel equipment with instruction, sodas, fruit punch and lunch
For all excursion and tours do not forget to carry:
Sun block, a towel, Aquasox and some cash just in case you decide to shop for souvenirs and for tipping (at your option).
Excursions from HII are difficult since all of the 'good' stuff is so far away. On
our first visit my wife and I did the combination Dunn's River Falls/swim with
the dolphins. It was definitely something that we enjoyed and are glad we did,
but it was a whole day away from the resort of which about 5 hours (2.5
each way) were spent in a minivan on bumpy roads. (We didn't completely
waste our time in the backseat of the minivan, but that's a story for a different
time.)
Other's here will tell you that if you're going for the excursions HIII is a better
choice. (Does anyone go to Hedo for the excursions?) For our second trip to
HII the only time we got off the resort was for the catamaran cruise to Rick's and
the cliff diving. That worked fine since they picked us up and dropped us off right
at the HII dock.
The only other thing I can say about the excursions is that if you're interested,
stop at the tour desk as soon as you get there, right after you check in if possible,
because sometimes the things you might want do get full up. We wanted to do
the cat cruise the first time, but that filled up.
For the Dunn's River Falls we went and said that we were interested. The lady
took our name and said that it another couple wanted to go she would put us
together in the van. They want to have at least two couples for trips like that
otherwise they don't make enough money and say they have to charge an extra
fee for a 'private excursion'.
Another reason for planning your excursions early is that its harder to make
those kinds of plans once the sand gravity gets hold of you...

Mike == Thank you very much!!
FYI...........I am definitely going to try to do the Dunn's River Falls and Ocho Rios shopping tour. Hopefully there will be at least 4 people doing it.
We had great intentions of venturing outside the resort, however it seemed that we couldn’t get away from the nude beach /pool and Delroy’s. We tried to explore the resort some but didn’t do a very good job at that I’m afraid. Sand gravity held us there, oh well maybe next time. Good luck with the off resort excursions, they all sound neat.
