upgrade room

Seriously the room does not matter that much. It's just a place to store your stuff till you get kicked out. You should not be worried about spending time in the room. Biggest concern is it's a longer way to stumble back in the wee hours of the morning after partying all night. But then again you are closer to the disco and dining room.

I can't answer about an up-grade. I suppose it matters how full the resort is,
but my guess is that if you're willing to pay the difference and they have a
room, they'll let you move. After all, its more money in the till for them and
they really don't have to do any extra work.

What I will say, though, is that both times my wife and I visited HII we paid
the extra and got the oceanview nude room and, in our opinion, its worth it.

I'm sure the room is no different from the rooms on the other end of the resort,
but its really nice to wake up in the morning (OK, late morning), throw open
the curtains, and look out on the sun, sand, sea, and skin (and one or two
other 's' words - although they don't usually start until later in the evening).

It also makes it easier to go back to your room for a nap that my wife and
I found that we were in mood for just about every afternoon.

Yes, it does cost a bit more money and although we're not rolling in dough,
we have some disposable income (otherwise we wouldn't be able to make the
trip in the first place). For us, if we're planning on spending most of our time
on the nude end we might as well pay the little extra and get a room on that
end of the resort.
