Tipping at Hedo

We are an older couple who are going back to Hedo after sometime away We understand that tipping is banned at the resort and the employee could get fired if accepting tips.. We know that this was done on earlier trips by shaking hands ect. Is this still the case or is it more or less done. Thanks

Yes that is still the policy. But, now they have a tip jar at the front counter that is split between all employees.

The last thing you should want to do is get someone fired. They do have permanent records in Jamaica that go from job to job. Getting fired for taking a tip would keep them from ever getting a hospitality job again.
