ISO: Recommendation for Pre-Do Night Hotel

We are headed back "home" for YSW March 19-26 but this time will be coming in a night early to experience somewhere different.

We are open to a variety of hotels, but would prefer something either unique/fancy or traditional/cheap and cheerful. In other words, nothing that looks like it could easily be in Mexico or DR, etc.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We do the exact same thing every trip. Arrive in Negril Friday late afternoon, get a good nights sleep and make it to Hedo around 9:30 in time for breakfast. Gives us the full day Saturday rested and ready to go. We stay at Coco LaPalm. 5 minute ride to Hedo. Nice rooms and a very good restaurant. https://www.cocolapalm.com/

We have stayed off resort when we get in late…doesn’t make sense to spend the money at hedo when you do not get there till 8. We have stayed at Coco before as well places in mobay.
Keep in mind that Jamacia has zone stuff and you are not allowed to travel between them. Stay in negril.

I like Travelers Beach Resort, about 15 minutes from Hedo.
