Apparently, Winston has fired Raymond due to his own insecurity. Winston, who never interacts with the patrons other than singing from the stage, has made the disastrous decision to terminate the extremely popular Raymond. Raymond understands the hospitality business infinitely more than Winston. He interacts with patrons at breakfast, lunch, on the beach and following the nightly shows. In contrast, Winston is stand-offish and self-absorbed. Owner Harry Lange will regret giving Winston such autonomy as countless patrons loved Raymonds infectious smile and hospitality. If you were a resort owner, you would want to hire as many Raymonds as possible,...and apparently as few Winstons.
