Nope, this gentleman’s wife tested negative and was given the choice to go home, or stay by herself. ( I don’t know at her expense or not.) She went home as planned.

The same happened to another couple with the positive/negative tests. The spouse that tests negative does not get to stay with the one that tests positive. He/she can either travel home alone or stay at their own expense but have to test again a day before they leave.

This is definitely making me think twice about postponing our trip. With the crowded piano bar being one of our favorite activities and hanging around the pool and swim up bar we probably should postpone.

Based on reading the Facebook post, if the other person does not test positive then you don't quarantine in the same room. You can both go to the quarantine area but separate rooms.

This is kinda what I expected, sadly. Will need to add this to our decision whether we will travel to H2 in April. It's not that we can't spare the time to be away from home, it's just that the wife doesn't do well when flying solo.
Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

Neither one of us will be leaving the other sick in a third world country, so I guess we will plan for the added expense, if necessary

Well after much consideration and after reading the post on the Dennyp board on Omicron we decided to go ahead with our trip. If everyone that came to Jamaica had to have a negative test prior to air travel, chances are there are more people at our local Wal-Mart that have COVID than at Hedo. Plus we are both vaccinated with our booster. If I don't get to have a cocktail with Charlie and Farmer at Eldon's I will go crazy!

As very well said Midwest we didn't travel last year due to covid If we wait again I think we would end up in jail after 13 years of going in February there is no way we will not make this trip. Each person is neg to get there the only way you could get it is being stupid playing with people you don't know Thank you Midwest
