No. I've had it and my immunity is stronger than those who are lining up for boosters.

I did a poll on my Facebook group, Our Favorite Jamaican Vacation Place, that asked "If Hedonism II were to require proof of a COVID vaccine to visit there as well as vaccinate all employees, would you go?" Out of 1042 responses, 875 people said that they would go.

Like always: every coin has its both sides. One can say: "Yeah, amazingly 80% are acting responsible and would support the fully vaccination"; or one realizes:"Wow, 20% (every fifth person) want to play russian roulette".
Ok its far better than in the rest of USA with almost 40% imbeciles
I just keep wondering about the logic. If the vaccine works, and I'm vaccinated, then what does it matter if people around me are vaccinated or not? I'm protected. If I can still catch it after being vaccinated, then what good does it do? I can catch it from people around me whether they are vaccinated or not. So either way, I see no reason for me to force you to get vaccinated. I am vaccinated, and my 82 year old mother is vaccinated. She fell the other day so we took her to the hospital. She tested positive, but no symptoms of any type. They treated her for the fall (head trauma) but not for COVID. Too much about all this just doesn't make sense.

The problem is, that those that are NOT vaccinated, can harbour the virus for 10-12 days, and spread it as well (never mind that they will suffer more from it), whereas a vaccinated person is only contagious for 3-5 days and will suffer much less. Plus, in those 10 days for the unvaccinated, they are providing a great incubation chamber for a possible new variant of the virus. Perhaps one that won't die quickly in the face of the current vaccines.
It's not a perfect solution (the vaccine), but it's the best we got.
As well, it has been reported that the vaccinated are much less likely to die of the virus. So, think about your fellow human.
People need to get vaccinated because it lowers the possibility of passing the virus on from 10-12 days to 3-5 days.
The best way to stop this virus in it's tracks is if everyone in the world stays home for three weeks, at the same time. Not likely to ever happen. So till then, get vaccinated, because I so want to get back to Hedo and fuck my wife on the beach.

We have our booster shot already. I wish Hedo would require proof of vaccination for everyone that visits or works there. Cathy and I will be returning on Dec. 4 - 12, 2021
