I put trips off long enough. I'm healthy and vaccinated and will probably have a booster before I go. If I get infected, I won't die and likely won't even notice the symptoms. I just might get stuck there for an extra week in lesser accommodations. I can deal with that. Be there on Sept 30th. Looking forward to it.

Love this response, and have a wonderful time. You're being responsible, and taking every precaution
you can. How long do we continue to live our lives in fear of this thing? What quality of life can we have if we continue to live with restrictions?

That's pretty much what we’ve been thinking, too. See you there. (We’re going to be there Sep 25 – Oct. 2.)

I don't think it would be unreasonable to mandate proof of vaccines from foreign visitors upon entry.

We rebooked 3 times already, this time we're vaccinated and insured. It's looking like Covid is a permanent part of life now, so we're going to live with it. We'll be there October so long as our plane flies. If the worst happens and we have to quarantine in Jamaica for 2 weeks, that's the price we pay to live our lives I guess!

We agree with this and the other posters with similar sentiments. We are vaccinated and careful in our daily lives. To be fair, parts of the U.S have high transmission rates as well. At least our plane to Jamaica will be full of tested individuals (which is something, though not perfect. It's better than any domestic flight!)

We went in July and had an amazing time. We will be there for Halloween. Respect.

We are supposed to go in December but this is getting scary.
Is it fair to assume she was not vaccinated as a crazy amount of pre-pregnant or pregnant women are refusing vaccination?

We were there Sept 8-18. Place was 50% full which is great for September. Nude pool was busy, lots of socializing, etc. No one was in Covid Island and no one in our group (50+ rooms) had / came down with Covid after the trip. It was a great trip.
