Stayed Feb. 8-14, 2021. We thought about canceling several times over the past 6 months, but we were fried from COVID lockdown (work and home, work and home) and with one of us dealing with COVID patients the past year, we had to get away. She had both shots by late January, and we double masked throughout the airports and airplanes. Even when Rocky's picked us up at MBJ after an easy slide through customs, thanks to Club Mobay. Great ride to the resort, and we were impressed with all of the precautions upon check in. Sanitizer, masks given out (Awesome looking black ones with the Hedo logo!) We got upgraded from nude garden to a balcony overlooking the nude beach as the report was about 20% capacity. While the vibe felt different with fewer guests, the resort provided all of the same services and entertainment as if the place was full. Food was amazing as always, even the buffet. All staff wore masks 24/7, and guests wore their masks when in the main resort area, the gift shop, and entering all restaurants. We were given sanitizer when entering each restaurant and the buffet, and had our temps taken at each restaurant. The entertainment crew was spectacular!!! All day on the beaches, and especially their shows at night. Every one of them performed as if the place was packed, every night. (With masks!!) They are supermen and women! Winston was his usual awesome self, and we could listen to him sing every night, especially his Prince songs! We took a catamaran cruise free to all guests (Thanks to Topless Travel - Marc and Chelsea) to snorkel in the ocean and at the caves near Rick's Cafe. What a fantastic time! We never felt unsafe at any time, and were totally impressed with the way the resort is handling things. We heard the playroom was open, but did not venture that way.
The resort is providing the COVID tests within 3 days of departure at no costs, which is great.
We would urge everyone considering a trip to Hedo to just go. Leave your cares and troubles behind and have safe, sexy fun with no worries.
