I think we can all have an opinion, thoughts, muses but we can keep it civil. What I like about Hedo is no judgment so let's try to keep it positive on the forum. Just my two cents from someone who hopes to lay out on my raft with a drink in my hand enjoying the Hedo life.

If that mask gets wet, it'll be like waterboarding yourself. Fuck that, i'd stay home and save money.

Under the Jamaican governments protocol released for hoteliers, their is a section specifically for pools and hot tubs that states “The wearing of face masks is discouraged for all water activities due to the possibility of face masks posing a drowning hazard”.
In my opinion they are being logical, and reasonable while looking out for the tourists safety... much better than what I was expecting to read. Whew! Hopefully as time passes, all goes well and we have less restrictions to enjoy our Hedo getaways. Cheers everyone! Stay safe and see ya back home

Most government officials are looking to remove long term restrictions by the fall.
If by next spring, these restrictions are still in place. Well I guess the 1st time there was our last.

Just my opinion here, so no point in getting all worked up if you disagree, but after traveling a bit around the US I suspect we are getting worked up over nothing. I've been to states favoring both political sides and I see variations in govt. regulations, etc. I see most businesses setting up signage to play by the rules as needed to stay open. But I've also seen that most average people really don't care about the "rules" and do whatever they want. I've seen people crowd into elevators and hang out in large groups at the beach and at parties. I've seen a few people avoid those crowds or wear masks so I assumed they were concerned about their own health. But in general, most people seem to think that it is a virus, just like the thousands of other viruses in the world, and maybe you catch it, maybe you don't. The more we learn the more we realize that the odds of something really bad happening are about the same as with other bad viruses. From what I see, most people have moved on. I suspect most people who choose to go to Hedo (and probably want to get close and have fun in the pool, hot tub, etc.} are part of that group who have moved on. I foresee Hedo putting up signage and having it's staff follow the "rules", but guests ending up doing whatever the guests want to do and I foresee that happening rather quickly. But just my thoughts.

We’re supposed to be there right now. Based on some of the posts here, there are a lot of people who aren’t worried about possibly infecting others. I wish the virus could be limited to those who don’t take it seriously, but that’s not the case. We won’t be back until there’s a vaccine. Believe the scientists, folks.

As the USA is opening up, the WHO is now reporting a double digit % uptick in virus out breaks in the last week. Probably the lack of social distancing. Considering the sexual atmosphere we all like at H2, I think caution is in order in the near term. The resort won't be running as "normal" for some time, the play rooms are shut down, and flaunting the rules could be deadly.
I like your attitude though, Spidercat, be safe. First timers though may be disappointed. I do think the resort should be reducing it's rates though, near term, as visitors won't be getting the full Hedo experience.

    Be safe all.
Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

I’ll be HOME in August, and even if the mask rule is no longer in affect I will wear one. For me, personally I don’t feel inconvenienced as I wear a mask in public ever day as it is. I will find relief in knowing that I’m having fun in a way that I personally feel safer while feeling like I’m protecting others around me. No judgment, no right or wrong , just how I personally feel. Long live Hedo people!!

    Can’t wait!

When are you going back. Maybe we’ll bump into one another again. I’ll be there in August and again in October for a wedding.

Returning to stay at home orders will ensure the curve flattens to the point where Covid will stick around for another 6 months. Let it spike, get to herd immunity and get back to normal. If you're at risk, stay home. If you're not, wash your hands and live your life.
