Thanks for posting a trip report! Sounds like a great group! Trip reports are far and few between these days on this site. Where did everyone go?

Thanks! I think more peeps are on Facebook, etc. now, but I still do reports here too. Sharing is caring....

Still recovering, but finally caught up enough to add our latest report in full here. I keep having flashback's to fun times! It was an awesome week!

My 28th and the 2020 Annual Lovin' Life Group Trip Report
    February 22 - 29, 2020

These trips just keep getting betta and betta to the point where I am trying to figure out how to report activities and yet keep peeps on the down low (so to speak). LOL!

Our Lovin’ Life group is very diverse in all ways and every year we prove ourselves a true framily once again whether it’s the constant happiness to see each other, support for new crew members, shared naughtiness and even a few practical jokes (for those who almost beg for them).

Everything once again started Friday (I arrive a day early) at the airport where I shared my flight with an awesome group peep. Castaways gets the Club Mobay bundle for their group hosts, so after a bit of shenanigans on the flight, we were ushered past the document checking line (where mobay rep checks peeps forms, etc.) that was longer than any of the actual immigration lines, and quickly made our way through immigration itself. After getting our luggage, I noticed that they have added a small baggage scanner at the customs section. I’m not sure how they were picking luggage to be scanned, but quite a few peeps were pulled. Luckily nothing of mine or my peeps had any issues.

The awesome lady at the Sun Holiday shuttle desk once again started smiling and writing out my vouchers as I walked up and told me about peeps from our group who had already left on shuttles together. Then we went into the mobay lounge and met several others before being outed by the lounge rep who announced to all that the shuttle to ‘Edonism’ was ready. He didn’t pronounce the H’, but everyone who wasn’t going turned to look at us and we just smiled and happily got on one of the big busses. Peeps started framily bonding immediately en route (which is why I prefer the shuttle).

I was given one of my fav rooms near the spa and quickly got things ready before heading to the pool. Like trips before, I noticed peeps said I smelled good and this was before I had any fries! LOL! My secret weapon…Neutrogena 30 SPF sunscreen spray aka beach ‘perfume’/good peep attractant. 😉

We had ~30 peeps in house on Friday who prepped the way for the rest who arrived Saturday-Tuesday. We had several new to the resort as well as new to the group peeps and they were frickin’ awesome. Good peeps blend well and even got a gorgeous gent into the wild side pool who never thought he would do it and was smiling and laughing like he had been there for years like the rest of us. Cheers to getting past what seems insurmountable in our minds before we realize no one is perfect and no one there cares! This place truly is therapy for the soul. ❤️

    Informational notes

    * I did the online C5 form before leaving home (https://enterjamaica.com/). I told anyone who didn’t have club mobay to fill out both hard copy and the online version because I heard that lines for each vary – this way they are ready for whatever line is shortest.

    * The resort has once again started doing a pre-charge of your credit card in case of additional purchases/room charges. Nothing was actually charged upon check-out beyond what I get for my group helpers.

    * The bathroom in the room I was in had newer styled conditioning shampoo and body wash dispensers instead of the individual bottles. Shampoo wasn’t very sudsy unless you use a lot.

    * There are now filtered water dispensary/stations at each room block where peeps can refill the water bottles or other containers. Each cycle fills a bottle before needing to reload.

    * No new news about the other ‘dispensary’ on site.

    * There was a fire drill on Friday. They pushed a slip announcing it under my door that morning. We were sitting and chatting in the dining room when it happened and had to go to the parking lot across from the lobby. A bunch of peeps in the pool had to form a line of buns walking to the volleyball courts. Impressed they were even able to get them out of the pool! LOL!

    * Fabian, who used to be an entertainment staff member is now working at the Club Mobay Departure desk. It was great to see a familiar happy person on my way out.

    * I once again found it helpful to use the Mobile Passport app when returning to reality (free to use unless you upgrade to the paid version): https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citize...ssport-control

Another week of amazing memories (names excluded to protect the not-so-innocent)

    * Spending a few hours up in the lobby on Saturday meeting my peeps, only to have them stay (or return after getting their rooms) and have a mini-group party full of laughter and fun.

    * Our newest word - “Slurpy” - when peeps are slurring words while being extra socially happy (not sloppy drunk). There were definitely a few birthday and otherwise happily ‘slurpy’ peeps there our week.

    * Our goody bags had fun toys and items that were innocent, well…until not anymore. Funnels are NOT stainless-steel BPs (ya freaks)! Then again, the Altoids may well add a curiously strong sensation in many places… Things that make you go hmm…only there! LOL!

    * Being given a very special present from my Canadian peeps - a 28" inflatable pecker named 'Gregory' who was thoroughly enjoyed by many a gal and will return next year!

    * Ah those nights around the topside cabana where we laughed until we cried over things never heard of before, #5minuteman, ‘Shine me up’ (which definitely got a different reaction than ‘sign me up’, especially when mixed with pursed lips and a shoulder shake) and then there was that Coast Guard Part Deux evening where someone loved them some men in uniforms... 😉

    * Also, I’ll never forget the morning ‘gathering’ of ladies in the grotto that had men walking by multiple times and even trying to join in. So innocent and yet some sooo wanted it to be more.

    * Several ‘cures’ were found during the week:

    > Syringes full of ‘make happy’ shots given out on Sunday (Dr./Nurse/Medical Student night)
    > Fernet Branca via flask or glass which had peeps making faces and then staying ‘up’ much later.
    > Coconut jelly - good for the ‘pencil’
    > Other ‘inventive’ cures for peeps hiccups that were re-tested different nights. It’s all good as ‘long’ as it feels good!

    * We also had a lot of peeps take on framily bonding roles - ‘researchers’ who checked into what made peeps happy, ‘teachers’ who helped them learn new things and ‘suppliers’ of slippery when wet fun to name a few. 😉

    * Then there are my practical jokers who gave someone Cialis as part of a hangover treatment – things got ‘interesting’. And, then others helped someone napping in a cabana make it to the meet and greet by ‘greeting’ their newly opened eyes with parts meant to shock and awe. My peeps… smh 😃

    * Tuesday, our group One Love Pub Crawl was another awesome time. We had 2 buses and no empty seats. We got to visit the new Doc's Place that had a medical marijuana dispensary on site, Xtabi where a few peeps jumped from the cliffs into the watta and several other amazing places including Lenbert's own home with a bar where his wife makes amazing 'orgasms' (pina coloda/dirty banana) and fresh made rum punch while you watch.

    * Then it got all up on there Wednesday when we had our Walk on the Wild Side Pool Party themed 'Slippery when Wet'. AND, Congrats to our peeps who won Wednesday’s midnight pole dancing contest and again for those who closed out the courtyard DJ/dance party on Friday. We got ‘moves’ no one has seen before and they kick a--!

    * Another framily bonding time happened during our day trip to Mayfield Falls when we adventured high up in the mountains via somewhat challenging roads into beautiful mineral waterfall surroundings. That day was full of shouts of ‘Oh Yeah’, laughter, helping hands, clay massages and pictures that are forever memories. We recommend this tour for those who want to see more of the natural side of Jamaica and who don’t mind being away from the resort for 5-6 hrs. * We are a group of peeps who really enjoy being a framily, but also try to include anyone around us. Thanks to the peeps who brought extra fun to the week including our awesome DJ, Canadian yummies & special shots, cherries, gummies and even homemade moonshine. These were enjoyed by all.

    * Last, but not least note for this trip – thanks to the fine gent who offered me a seat (or purrhaps I took it…) in the club mobay departure lounge where I quickly snarfed some food and diet cokes before boarding my flight. The looks on peeps faces was priceless when they realized I didn’t have time to get or sit in a proper one. 😃

A big shout out to the amazing peeps there this trip!
