Best alternative nearby hotel for early arrival

We are considering flying in the night before our arrival at the resort. What is a good option as an alternative hotel? It doesn't need to be fancy but differently needs to be safe and clean and near the resort.

    thank you!

we did that last year and are doing the same again this year as it doesn't make sense to pay for full day at hedo when our flight gets in at 5 pm. we booked travellers beach resort wich was clean and had small restaurant on the beach. $10 cab ride to hedo the next morning for breakfast.

We have stayed at negril palms. A little out dated but clean. They also have a restaurant and bar and it is in the beach. The last time we were there the check in clerk said something like “only one night, have fun at hedo”

Coco La Palm would fit your criteria

Yes, Coco la Palm....stayed there last year, walking distance to Margaritaville, great beach/café/drinks, and $10 cab to Hedo in the next day.

We are doing that next week and chose the Boardwalk Village. Check out the website if interested.

Coco LaPalm is wonderful but regularly sells out and during high season sometimes require three nights.......Try to arrange Coco way ahead of time if you can, it's nice and a pretty good deal......right down the beach a bit is Rondell's another nice little resort, not as fancy as Coco, but would be nice for a night. There's bunches of acceptable little places, look on tripadvisor under Negril hotels....good luck Cheers

We stayed at Toby's Hotel/Resort in Montego Bay last year and are again this year. Nice and close to airport and then up and off to Hedo at 8 am I didn't want to stay in Negril and be that close to Hedo, I was happy staying close to the airport after a long travel day. Save the 1.5 hour exciting drive for the next morning. Happy Hedo Planning

Boardwalk village for sure. We have stayed there a few times. Bar and restaurant on-site and the jerk wings are delicious.

This is great we had the same question! Does everyone take a shuttle to hedo? Seems it is a 1.5 hour drive or so.

Negril Palms, about $60 per night, nice beach, 150 feet from Margaritaville for dinner and a drink. Big beds, may or may not get a hot am shower lol.

Great to hear this - we just booked Toby's as well (for November) for us & four of our friends - just found it on booking.com so you never know. Lol. Glad to hear from someone who actually stayed there. We didn't want to be near Hedo either.....and our group is including transfers, so being in MBJ and near the airport works great to hop on their shuttle the next morning.
