We always use Rockys. Never had a problem and they are super reliable and organized. Their drivers can shuttle you around Negril too if you decide to do some off site excursions.

I have personally used Rocky's for all my Jamaica travels including for my Krewe de Krazy Life group for 10 years and never any issues.

We normally use Clives, always a clean, comfortable car, and excellent service

There are lots of drivers now offering private transportation from MBJ to Negril. The costs should be 70 to 80 return for the Car ( usually max 4 ) Rocky's is one of the original transfer service ( about 20 Years). Whoever you choose, you should make sure they are licensed for taxi service. Many are not and their fares are usually less
but they do not have the proper insurance.

Very important that they are licensed. Reading up on my travel insurance fine print, they only cover me when the mode of transportation is duly licensed. Of course different travel policies will have different conditions, but you should know when you're covered and when you're not.
This generally applies to all transportation (like day trips) etc.

We're going for Ms No Swimsuit as well this time. Just as a thought, depending upon your budget, we used TimAir to fly from MoBay to Negril. VIP treatment straight from the baggage claim to the plane, no delays and then only a 20 minute flight to Negril. Since we only get four nights we'd rather have the time in the pool and then no rush on the way back. It's a small plane (Cessna 206) so you have to be comfortable with that and it's $150/170 per person each way so it's a little on the steep side but four extra hours in the nude pool is priceless, right? :-)

Thank you for the recommendation! I heard of a few experiences where folks had to wait for Tim Air, for whatever reason, to get them in the plane & to Hedo which made it pointless timewise. But, someone is always going to have a bad experience, so I'm on the fence about using them. How much and who do you tip when using Tim Air?

We've used Luxurious Carib tours for our last two trips. Last trip we made it to resort in 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time our plane touched down! (going through customs, immigration, baggage claim, and heavy traffic) $60. for up to 4 people. Highly recommend!
