August 2020 Roll Call

I know that August is still a long ways away, but I am curious if anyone has already booked, and for what dates? We are looking at either August 5-15, or August 12-22.

We haven't talked about it yet, but that's the time of year that works out best for us. We didn't go on an adult vacation this year, so we will be ready for next August for sure! We met you August 2018 during the rainstorm when we were on our Hedo day pass because we were staying at Couples Negril. Couples is a nice place, but damn, did we ever miss the fun at Hedo!

Yes, I remember that! Wow, that was quite the rainstorm! We spent 10 nights there in August, and the weather was pretty good. We want to return again for 10 nights. We plan our dates so that we get in two of the Friday night galas (we love lobster tail!) August 5-15 is close to the Jamaican Independence Day, which can change the vibe at Hedo. But, August 12-22 seems so late. I guess we have a few months yet to figure it out! Lol

It's never too early to get excited about your next trip. Especially with the punishing winters we both have to go through, we'd go nuts if we didn't have a tropical vacation to look forward to! It will either be the 8th thru the 15th for us, or the 15th thru the 22nd.

p.s. We love to have lobster tail also a couple of times in our week's stay, so we go offsite at least once to find it. Yummy!

Based on flights, it is looking like Aug. 8-18 for us, but we won't finalize things until after the new year!

We are going to hold off on booking. We want to see what happens with travel restrictions and quarantining. We just had to cancel a trip to Mexico in April. It is a hassle. I will keep my fingers crossed that this situation improves, and we can enjoy 10 days at Hedo in August. Stay safe everyone!

Anyone still planning on going in August? Had to cancel our trip for March. Tentatively looking at August 8-15th if things open back up. Will be our first time, would hate to be there if the resort was fairly empty even if they are open...
