2020 Garden Prude

We went to Hedo in May for 2nd time, it was very affordable, we stayed in the cheapest room......garden prude. Want to go back for 10th anniversary and it looks like no garden prude rooms are available any day for Jan, Feb, March, Apr 2020. Are they being remodeled?? The garden nude, which seems to be the cheapest available for those months, is almost double what we paid in May. Help! : (

These months are high occupancy ones and also higher priced than May because of it. Most of the GVR rooms are reserved by groups and/or sold out. A lot of peeps like paying less/getting GVR rooms just to be there then. Check the group/events page and see if there is a group that sparks your attention and contact the them to see if they have any available yet.

I'm pretty sure they are not all booked up for the GVP rooms. Groups will block out rooms for their members, and must return unused rooms x number of days out (90 I think). As well I believe the resort limits the number of rooms a single group can block out, to 50. As Lisa said, check out groups that will be on site at the times you wish to attend, and if you find one to your liking book with them. Group rates are usually cheaper anyway, and you are not required to partake in any group activity. We are booked for April 2020. When we went to book, our groups travel agent said, "sorry no GVP rooms available for 2020, can I put you on a wait list". We went to a different travel agent and guess what, we now have a GVP room for April.

We just got ours for 28th March to 4th April. They are not cheap anymore - 250 pp or thereabout. They are now called GVR - R for regular. We got ours through Castaways just this Monday.

WOW, next you'll tell me the prude side is clothing option instead of prude, LOL

Yes it is, you can walk naked to any room from the pools unless you are going through the dining hall and frontage. Prude is clothing optional and nude poolside is compulsory nude. You can find naked people in the prude pool. Unless things have changed since our last trip in April.

Here's the offical list of groups that are at the resort, and their dates. It's mostly complete as some groups are "not " offically listed.

I should point out that some of these groups while listed here, have web pages that are not listed here, but the information provided by their TA will get you to the web page, and from their, you can decide what works for you.

prices of rooms vary during the year. usually around/after easter the prices drop some. during busier times they are higher
