Any construction going on right now?

Heading back this Saturday 4th trip. Wanted to see if there was any construction going on at the resort at this time? The last 3 years there has been, we r really hoping to hear construction is all done!

While there’s really been no mention of construction on this site, but there’s been plenty reports of it from August onward on Trip Advisor. I’ve heard mentions of Ocean View Nude room construction with complaints about noise during the day, vehicles related to construction on the pathway through the nude room blocks on the way to the nude pool, and excessive dust from construction activity around the nude beach rooms.

Just wondering what they’re doing this year, since reports indicate something is being worked on down there.

I read tripadvisor.com every day and there has been no mention of Hedo construction projects this summer. But there have been mentions of room renovations on Facebook.

Just got back on the 14th of Sept. Room on the nude side ocean front and some of the nude garden view are being renovated. Lots of debris and noise. they were also doing a lot of painting and cleaning. Nothing really stopped us from having a great time.

We were home from Sept 7 thru 14. Counted approx. 20 units on Nude side in heavy renovation. Ten lower and the ten above. Stripping down seems to be generally over, with reconstruction in early stages. Carpentry sounds can be heard on Nude beach during the day. Hammering and some circular saw. It was mildly distracting, but not terrible. At Nude pool with music playing sound of construction was even less evident. And really pleased to saw the DJ during are week at the pool kept volume well under control. You could have a conversation in the pool while music was playing. We did see the odd vehicle on path in Nude area and Prude, but seemed to be kept to minimum. On Prude side, we had a major tear-up two units down from US and some kind of work for two days on the roof. Unit renovation caused a little noise, but the time of day for was reasonable. Roof work was noisy one day, but we did not spend much time in room during day. Harry hosted a Catamaran cruise on Tuesday at 10:30 AM, to compensate. Dispensary, still boarded up, but saw no construction activity.

Thank you all for your response! Last year when we were there of the construction was very loud outside of our room so I was just trying to see what we are up for this year! Last year also the play room was not open, Was it open for you guys?
