This has happened to us in the past. Last April we made it through 17 days with no ill effects, first time in a while.
But the trip before we had butt flu, and the trip before that we had the grud.
The hazards of travel in foreign lands, and then the social activity.
Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

I got sick from our March trip this year. My throat got sore and I lost my voice on day 3. It took over 4 weeks to get over it when I got home... short of breath and pneumonia symptoms. I finally broke down and went to the clinic and got a chest x-ray... wasn't pneumonia by then, but it was towards the end.

Not sure it was bacterial or viral since I was kissing more than one person and none of them had any effects. I think I actually had a chemical reactions/burn from being in the pool for prolonged durations... but I'm not a doctor.

People blame it on airplanes and A/C units, but I fly all the time and the problem didn't go away when they replaced the A/C units. I know several people who avoid the hot tub and pool because they get sick if they spend too much time in either... I think they're probably right.

To be honest, if being at the nude pool and hot tub makes you sick... it's still worth it.

Been wiping down airplane seats, and never touch plane magazines, use Lysol on the AC and other objects in the room, haven't been sick since.

Our can of Lysol got confiscated by TSA the last two years. In 2018, we thought it was random. This year, they did it again. Never touched our can of hair spray.

I used to get sick after each trip, I think part of it is the work up, excitement and just work/life stress that kicks the immune system and then you are in a pool with a bunch of peeps having fun. Germs spread fast if someone has a cold, etc. The past couple years I bring a travel sized can of lysol to spray inside the A/C unit vents and it helps a lot. I also bring airborne just to add a bit of good stuff back to the bod after trashing it every day.

The hot tub chemicals can get to some peeps lungs too, I tend to sit on the edge more because they did get mine one trip and it wasn't fun. Totally believe in the chemical treatment and still enjoy it, just more careful.

Have to say, even when I did get the crud, it was soo worth it.

I got the crud mid trip last year. I did my best to drink through it, but it definitely slowed me down. So we booked a an extra trip this year to make up for lost time.

We also do the Lysol spray thing with the AC, and we wipe down all surfaces in the room. Don’t forget the TV remote...it can have more germs than the toilet seat (no kidding). Last two years we got away without getting sick...yay!

We have been home for 2 weeks and pretty much over the crud. We now expect it after every trip, but it is a small price to pay for a week at hedo. We figure we get the crud because our immune systems take a beating on our trip. Airplane flights, staying up way too late, in a different country, drinking way more than at home and meeting many others (not necessarily playing, but even shaking hands, hugging or kissing on the cheek). Most times it is just a stuffy head and innards. We are going back

I was sick a couple of years ago before we went. Drank down a Bob Marley that night. And lo and behold, he came back up to visit about 2 in the morning. I think Niquil might have been better.

Vitamins B complex, high dose C with zinc are your friends. Start cycling them a week or two before your trip to boost your immunity. Next best thing is attempt to get some rest daily while on property.

When we started doing these thing and have lowered our occurrences of the dreaded 3 week Hedo crud. No sickness on the past two trips.

@ NCcouple...This is clearly the best and most obvious solution. I applaud your fine example!

Great idea! I start taking Airborne / high doses of Vitamin C before I leave and definitely use the Lysol wipes

I had an unfortunate incident with coffee flavored Patron, after a week of drinking only water. After watching over me while I experienced the 10 ounce 'Flu' ; my husband just about passed out when I grabbed a bottle of XO Patron Cafe at duty free in the airport a few days later.
