$700 for 12 Loyalty Program question (Mainly aimed at UK residents)

We’re thinking of returning to Hedo in 2020, after a 4 year absence.
We’ve used Kenwood Travel here in the UK for our room reservations for most of our previous trips, as we’re sure a lot of fellow UK based travellers on this forum will have done.
In the years when we were doing 2 trips per year (2 x 14 days), we were able to benefit from the 14+3 promotion, which effectively meant we only paid for 11 days on our 2nd trip.

Obviously the 14+3 promotion has now been replaced with the $700 for 12 nights deal, so our thought process was to book 12 paid nights through Kenwood and then use the $700 voucher to cover the majority of the cost of the additional 2 nights, to make a 2 week vacation.
The Caribbean ‘expert’ at Kenwood has told us that the $700 for 12 is NOT available to us, as the room prices are currently already discounted for the UK market. Now, we’ve no doubt that there is some truth in this comment and that we can generally pay a little less for a room than our USA friends, at the end of the day, a paid night is a paid night in the context of the promotion, and therefore we’re surprised to learn that UK is excluded from the new scheme.

With this in mind, we wondered whether any fellow Brits had any experience of the new loyalty programme since it started, to either confirm or disprove what we’ve been told by Kenwood?

In years gone by, we would have sent an email to Delano Miller, Sales Manager for clarification, though we understand he has left the resort since our last trip?

Hi, fellow Brits here. We are returning again this November and have booked with Toms Trips as part of the Thanks giving group. We get at $700 voucher to use in resort.
Booked with a UK agent for our first trip which was horrendous so have always used a US based agent since (not Kenwood)

    700 dollar voucher

I would say it is available to any nationality. Maybe use a different agent or book direct, we are from Canada and almost always book direct with the hotel. You are correct and can use the 700 dollars US to extend your stay after your 12 nights.
