    Toga night ...

    Hi everyone,

There's snow outside, but we're We're beginning to prepare for our May 16-23 return visit to Hedo!

When we went to Hedo a few years ago, they had stopped doing Toga night, but I see that it's back again. We have a few questions:

    (a) Are we supposed to bring sheets from home, or will they be provided?
    (b) Will there be toga tying lessons for those of us who have never done it before?
    (c) Do most people wear undergarments or swimsuits underneath? We love being naked as much as possible, but don't want to stand out awkwardly.

    Any other words of advice?

    Cheers,

    Mike & Anna

Just got home a day ago. so the latest.

Toga night is NOT a big deal anymore. In fact (IMHO) the resort has lost the plot over theme nights. Or perhaps the various groups have diverted attention.

Thursday's Toga Bight was ON, last week. Some, but by no means most, guests dressed the part (or is it undressed the part). Strict rule: no undergarments of any kind if you want to stand out.

Bring your own! Thin, inexpensive net curtaining works really well.

The sexier the better: that applies to her costume, nobody cares about his!

You might find a 'how to tie one on' lesson handled by the staff

BUT: much more fun to ask other guests to 'help' you drape a thin curtain over yourselves (her). Try about 4:00 pm near the hot tub. Works every time and way more fun.

So, plan to do your own thing. Plan to shock the other guests who have been there seen that and done that already.

Go enjoy. Then head to the foam party later. And once again go naked for a cool, damp soapy experience.

Toga night is oune of our favorite nights also because it is the night of the bubble party.

My advice, bring your own sheets and have everything ready before the trip. In my opinion, less is best. We use safty pins to hold them on. Again, less is more. Might not want to show up looking like a Roman dignitary.

    (a) That would be best (sheets from home) but then there are those that need to outdo the rest of us and buy an expensive outfit. We started out with sheets, then bought the Toga, and have now returned to sheets.
    (b) Most times we've been there they had Toga tying lessons. I like the idea of being at the nude HT at 16:00 though, I may have forgotten how to ty a toga, wink, wink..
    (c) UNDERWEAR, really, you have to ask. Nobody wares underwear at Hedo, except the staff.

Sadly we have noticed that the toga participation has dropped off, perhaps people got tired of competing with the off the self product, (yes we were guilty as charged, but have repented our evil ways and returned to sheets).

    PNK has some good advice.

Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

By all means, take them and wear them. Have fun, it is your vacation, do what you feel like. We take outfits for three or four of the theme nights; sometimes we wear them, sometimes not. Don't let the perception that "nobody dresses up" influence you in you trip. You'll have the time of your life if you throw scruples aside. You can always conform with norms the other 51 weeks of the year when you are back home.

Just best not to wear them in the foam party. Just bring a towel for that. Ron and Cathy hit it right on the head. Have fun!

Dress up dress up dress up. It is so much more fun to participate. Saying that, we do not dress in costume for Jamaica night. We choose that as “date night” wear and dress more for the beach party. Me in Shorts and a Tommy Bahama type shirt and her in a sun dress.

As for Toga night....last year we just used sheets we brought there with us. I think we left them somewhere in the foam though.
