Staying at Negril Palms the night before Hedo - activities?

We are staying at Negril Palms next Thursday night, and headed to Hedo on Friday. We will probably spend Thursday afternoon and evening on the beach at the nearby bars and restaurants within walking distance. Any recommendations? We’d also like to go to the Jungle nightclub that night. Will we need a taxi, or can we walk?

There's a lot of beach bars all along 7 mile beach. It's fun to just wander down the beach swillin' Red Stripes. Take a taxi to the Jungle and perhaps a Jamaican if possible.
Have fun, be aware of your surroundings and all that stuff.

Lots of nice places along the beach. Many require a three day minimum so start early. Trip advisor will show them all if you search Negril.

We are going to try the Sunrise Club Hotel. It is across the street from the beach, but we are getting in late enough that we don't expect to get out much that night anyway. This will be our first time there, so hopefully it will be nice (or nice enough, lol). The price was definitely right.

We stayed at Negril Palms twice now overnight before going to Hedo, priced between 50-60 night. Nice clean rooms may or not have hot water, about 200 yards down the beach to Margaritaville. Planning to stay there next trip in June.

True, find them on Tripadvisor or Expedia then book directly, just like the airlines.

The date we checked for Negril Palms, the price was about $200 per night (February). And I did check direct as well as the typical travel sites.
