    First timers to Hedo

This is our first "resort trip". We've not been to Hedo much less Jamaica. Any advice on the best way to get from the airport to in Montego Bay to the resort? Has anyone used Rocky's? Any other suggestions? We aren't apposed to public transport but don't necessarily want to take 2 plus hours to get there. We arrive Saturday the 27th at 11:05 am. Anybody coming in around that time that would like to share a ride? We don't bite.....

We used the shuttle company the resort recommended the first time and it was fine, we're using Rocky's in November based on everyone's recommendations here on the forum. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about them.

From the feel of this form, I would estimate about 40% of the respondents use Rocky's, as we have been doing for the last 15 years. If you use their services ask for the car, it is very comfy . Current rates are 70 for two or 140 return. There are many other companies available but make sure they have a taxi liscense as lots do not . FYI Rocky's was the first company I believe to offer private MBJ to Negril transfers.
    Have a great TRIP.

Google MBJ transfers there are lots and after 14 trips we haven't had a bad one. Usually an online form asking your details fill it in and they mail back quickly with a quote. Also you can haggle, as there are so many of them.
Its around $110 both way's maybe a little less, or what about private as you arrive ( as you are in a hurry right) and shared shuttle when you leave? A shared shuttle doesn't stop on the return trip, so approx 1 & half hours, same as private as you arrive. The diver might ask you if you want to stop for beer etc that's your call. x
