Nude Bar Question

Hi everyone!

We were last at Hedo in Sept 2016, before they did the nude grill and bar renovations. The new seating area at the nude grill looks really nice, but the bar surface was supposedly redone in a dark granite that became extremely hot when exposed to the sun.

At the time, people were saying that they were laying towels down on the hot surface to prevent people from getting burned. This seemed kinda hokey to us. I can't believe they didn't think about this when designing the bar remodel. Anyway, have they redone it with something less likely to become unbearably hot in the sun or are they still resorting to putting towels down?

We'll be back soon to find out for ourselves, just were hoping someone would fill us in for now!

We were at Hedo last October and we had no issues with the bar surface. Like you, we had heard of how hot the new bar surface was getting in the afternoon sun. But I think I read somewhere on this forum that they extended the roof to provide more shade. Perhaps someone else can confirm.

The new bar and nude grill really is nice. It looks like it has always been there and is very functional. Hard to even remember what it looked like before.

They have extended the roof of the nude bar on 3 sides (by about 4 feet if I remember correctly ). Enough to keep the sun off the bar surface.

One burned under-boob, two pink nipples, a couple of red elbows -- but nobody noticed (the body parts were numbed by booze). Not a problem for most.
