What is YOUR favorite way to get from MBJ to Negril?

    ...just curious.
I'm looking at the Tim Air option, cabbing it from the airport or those group bus cab thingies.
Anyone ever tried the local taxis?
    What have you done?

Cab ride is nice, I've used most of the popular guys and it's always great. I take the bus back to the airport.

Our first trip we took the bus. Bathroom/beer/jerk chicken break half way to Hedo (it's only an hour and a half ride). It took FOREVER to get there. Ever since we've used Rocky's. Always good drivers, good equipment, quick but safe ride with no problems. A little more expensive than the bus but to me it's my vacation and worth the little extra to get there as soon as possible. As soon as we walk out of the airport the driver is waiting for us. Just load the bags and off we go.

I haven't tried Tim Air but want to do it once just for the view. From what I've been told by friends you may or may not save time. The trip is quicker but it takes time to get to their office/boarding area, go through security again, then board.

I heard you can smoke a joint on the way to the resort in a cab, so that's a consideration after that long flight.

For those that use Rocky's do you book on their website? Do you pay in advance with a credit card? I plan on using them but I am a little nervous to pay through their website, not sure if it's secure or not.

We have use the website all 3 times. Never an issue. Pay credit one way and cash for the return trip. Cheaper I believe.

We don't get to stay too long on vacations so we always use Tim Air to get the most of it. Nothing but good times with them. Even the owner flew us once or twice. We also feel it may cost more but in the end safer with all the reckless driving they do over there. I guess all that matters is we all get to enjoy the same paradise !

    Rocky's
I have also used the standard cheap shuttle service. It is cheap but you have to share the bus which is not the best quality
