I've done Mayfield Falls. It was a journey, but I loved it. The water is incredible and the cascading falls are really fun. We were fortunate to have a very quiet day there and the place to ourselves. It was like a spa treatment after a week in the sun.

I wanted to do the swim with dolphins excursion. Last year, Someone on site told me they were able to purchase it ahead of time for just $99. Anyone know details for getting this low price?

We also are interested in a dolphin excursion. I think we're there at the same time, Cowgirl. Have you found out any info?

I know when we did it in ocho rios it was way more than $99. There are different levels, but the one where you are actually in the water with the dolphins is a lot more that $99.~ kitten

    RE: Mayfield Falls

We went to Mayfield Falls a couple of summers ago and WOW was it FUN! The guides were very knowledgeable and tell you where to place your feet. If you do go, be sure to bring your own water shoes. I believe you can rent them there, but I know I felt more comfortable in my own shoes. They serve a fantastic jerk chicken lunch after your walk up the falls which hits the spot after all that exercise. If you wear glasses, be sure to bring a tie to keep them around your neck or on your head. This is a wonderful trip that seems much more personal than what I've heard about Dunn's River Falls---well worth the money!

This year (in February) when we were on the Tuesday catamaran cruise, a small pod of dolphins showed up by the caves when we were swimming. A couple of us swam out to see how close we could get (not too close) but at one point they were investigating an empty crab pot that was literally under us. That was super cool. Didn't have to pay for anything but the booze cruise and got to "swim" with the dolphins!

I have experienced the ATV jungle trek with Chukka...approximately an hour ride from Hedo in Sandy Bay.

This is something I would certainly do again!
