Yep I am full of bs.

We went to h3 and after it closed we have been to h2 15 times, but what do we know.

For the non assholes reading this (btw Hedo86 is an a). If something bad happens, expect a runaround or them blaming you. With that said, all but one of our trips have been great and the one incident we had was a pain to n the butt, but we still had fun and got over it.

Also, hedo86, please post your next trip dates so we can book our next trip when you are not there

Why go back....we love Jamacia. You can run into crooked disonest people all over the world. We had a bad incident and yes I give mrs grant no respect. However, most of our interactions with Hedo staff and jamiciians has been great.

Different resort, hmmm, we are not asses, been there with multiple groups, had fun and made friends from all overe the USA Canada, South America and Europe. Also add China and India.

You should find a different resort. Hedo is not a place for asses.

    But what do we know.

PPl call BS on a trip report if its something they don't like.... good for them if nothing has ever happened to them... but we know that things do happen... so tired of hearing that hedo is a place where you won't be judged and everything is all roses there.... for those ppl we say take your head out of your ass and see the resort for what it is... just because someone is all nice to you and chat with you and maybe even fuck you don't mean they are honest ..... you don't know that person you just met that day or a couple of days ago you only know what they want you to know....

We had a person from our group get cash stolen from the safe in April. It sucks, we have been 8 times leave phones out cameras out, cash out and have never had an issue. I have no worries about theft but it does happen.

Here is one step I took to catch the person doing this if it ever happens again. I found on Amazon (and many other places) a small travel alarm clock that has a camera in it. I set it up in the room when we are gone. It will only record when there is motion in front of it. You can either download the video via USB or watch it on the LCD clock screen. When we are in the room it gets covered with a small towel. I think it cost about $35. It works very good at what it is intended for. There are a number of other small items that can be bought with a recording camera in them.
We were there in April also, and one member of our group mentioned he lost $20.00 then thought about it, then said he thinks it was taken from his safe.
We do travel with a "Nanny Cam" and on this trip, we did capture a supervisor (well she was checking items off on a clipboard) wandering through our room and looking at things (not our stuff) while we were at the beach. She never opened our suitcases, or spent enough time in the closet to open the safe. She checked the shower (don't know for what, but it took about 20 seconds), then walked to both sides of the bed (out of camera range). Nothing was missing, and I had left my camera out that day. We've had other checks by management while we were still in the room on other trips, no issues here.

Our safe did get stuck, the morning we were leaving. Called maintenance and he was there in about 10 minutes. Used our passcode to open the door. Said the mechanism sometimes gets stuck, and I should rattle the door if it happens next time. It's all he did.

On a different note, I have a long trip report that Tripadvisor has been sitting on for some time. Seems they didn't like my reference to all the people that had butt flu while we were there.

Life is too short for drama and petty things, so kiss slowly,
laugh insanely, fuck like you're the star of a porn film, and forgive quickly.

Having worked in hotels for many years, I can say the supervisor checking the rooms was likely the Housekeeping supervisor doing random checks on the rooms to ensure the housekeepers are doing their jobs properly: this is an industry best practices standard.

Theft from hotel safes are not commonplace, simply because the damned things are so difficult to access without the pass code. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it takes time. The only time I witnessed a safe being opened for a guest who had forgotten his code (our hotel required a manager to be present with the guest when the maintenance person was opening it), it was opened by a special handheld device that plugged into the safe keypad which overrode the guest's code and opened it. Because of the sensitive nature of safes, these devices had to be signed out from the Engineering Manager's office.

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and have never lost anything that we put in a safe. In fact, the only thing we ever "lost" was an iPod that I found a year later going through a side pocket of the bag we had taken on that trip!!!!
