    Upgrading our room?

We are currently booked in a prude garden view room. Initially chose this option not necessarily for budget but more because when I知 in my room I壇 like it to be quiet! I知 a very light sleeper and this is an important factor. We recently read in a few places that it might actually be loud if we were situated near the road. So a couple of questions to help make our decision.
We have the option to switch to a nude garden view, is this a better option? Is there a good chance the room will be nicer? Will it be relatively quiet? We will be in a more central location?
Any other info that will help would be appreciated!

H block is the best gvn, spot, there are still some rooms that are nude garden view up by the gym and down by the Flame restaurant that have not been done, so if you are going to pay for an upgrade request H-block,. HOnestly the noise is not a factor on gvp side ask for a room in the 1200 block near the buffet it is quiet and close to everything.

If noise is your primary concern, ask for a room on the 'prude' side, as close to the Sandals fence as possible -- away from the disco. It will be as dead as it comes over there. The room will be identical to all the other regular rooms (though those distant rooms were very recently upgraded and decorated). Late evening 'noise' is usually a few tipsy (or blind drunk) guests returning 'home'. Not a problem -- ever.

Moving closer to the huge hot tub could put you closer to late night 'action' -- if there is any that night. That can be noisy.

My real advice: take the room that's offered and change only if there is a real problem. There wont be. It's a Hedo vacation, not a 7-star luxury star-studded resort. Though you might well meet movie and video stars, authors, politicians ... Enjoy and don't over plan.

Prude ocean view rooms are really great. It's called clothing optional now, but they are very quiet.

I agree H block is the best location for garden view rooms. IMO ,ask for that block, if it is not busy can usually get it n/c.

Also we are wondering how large of a distance it would be if we were in the farthest rooms in the clothing optional side to the nude pool and hot tub.
    We mainly want something central.

356 yards along the beach (measured on Google maps), nude hot tub to farthest room close to Sandals. An easy walk.

Central is good. BUT that puts you close to the disco, which can go thumping until almost dawn. H block is great but can also be party central -- depending on who is at the resort and who's at the party.

In truth, distance is not an issue for most everyone. We all manage to get to the restaurants, the beach, the pools, the hidden hot tubs.

We have stayed in the next to the last ocean view room near Sandals and one block back from that near the road. Neither was noisy or a long walk. You can always rest halfway back with a drink from Paulette at the prude pool bar.

We actually like staying down near Sandals, we have been in those rooms several times. We actually enjoy the walk down in the mornings, we like to sometimes just hang on the beach on that end if we want a break from the party, we are very seldom in our room while at Hedo, so we don't sweat the location at all. Others have suggested H-Block, we have stayed there several times too, and we like that as well. As someone already mentioned, it's a Hedo vacation, so just relax and don't over think it. With noise being a concern, you might just want to request a room away from the disco, and you will likely be fine.

We just got back on Saturday and stayed in room 1229. Ocean view prude side. But almost everyone was naked on that side also including us. It was very close to the end near sandals. No noise at night so that's a great spot for a light sleeper. And the walk to the other side is not bad at all. You can walk the beach or a walking path to get to the nude side.
