    Getting toys to the island

So maybe an obvious question/answer, but we are new. What's it like packing a toy or three to take to the island? She has a Hitachi Magic Wand I know she would miss if we didn't bring it. I guess in checked luggage it's not going to be much of an issue?

    Thanks

Not a problem. They won't even bat an eye.

If you have battery-powered toys, just make sure to take the batteries out and you may want to put them in a clear Ziploc bag so they aren't directly handled if a TSA agent rummages through your luggage.

Everyone that ventures to Hedo is bringing sex toys. Heck, everytime we travel anywhere we bring sex toys with us. They don't care. We put it into checked luggage. We even once brought back a bottle of rum cream in our luggage and it broke and leaked all over. They pulled our luggage aside and opened it up to investigate. They left us a nice note that they searched our bag. I am sure they have seen crazier stuff daily. We do take the batteries out and put them in an airtight container.

A few years back I was bringing a new helmet and bicycle pump (with an integrated gauge) back in my hand luggage. The TSA guy pulled my bag off to investigate further - when he pulled the pump out, I asked him if he thought it was "one of THOSE toys" (wink wink). He laughed and said "No, we get those all the time: I have just never seen a bike pump like this before...."

My GF had her two toys in her handbag. Went through security both ways with no issues.
