I am curious as to why this recent spate of issues of people trying to join the group. I've had some problems with Flickr in the past but not recently until this past week. It has always been a simple matter of clicking on the Request to Join button and myself or moderator, will approve access to the group.

I'm finding the best manner to gain access to for people to send me their email address or Flickr email address and I can send a personal invite to join the group. Otherwise, people can, or become, members of Flickr overall, follow me as a friend, I will reciprocate, and then invite them to the group as a friend.

Sorry for the hassles.
