What's a good group for newbies?

We are now out of the "maybe" phase and have moved into the planning phase. We have a question about groups. Which group would you suggest for newbies to Hedo? We're no strangers to the lifestyle. Also we're more laid back and not really looking for a "spring break" type of party atmosphere. Any info about groups you organize, travel with or have interacted with would definitely help. We're looking sometime in the summer of 18.

I have several newbies going with the Lovin' Life group from Feb. 24 - March 3, 2018. The environment is like a sexy neighborhood pool party with a lot of laughter and fun. No one is pushy which I really like. This site has some FAQs and other info about our group : https://sites.google.com/view/lovinlife/faqs

Otherwise, perhaps you can put more about when you want to go and what type of environment you are looking for in a group and/or vacay. No matter what group you go with, you don't have to do anything - it is your vacay. Peeps tend to like groups because of the rates and it gives them some peeps to hang with or start off hanging with.

    Feel free to ask questions.

Really, any group will be accepting of you, and if once you are there, you are uncomfortable with the groups "Vibe" then just ignore that group and carry on with your vacation.
First, the Hedo web page has a section that lists most (but not all) groups with a short "Offical" write up, for a given week. Second, check out the trip reports section here for other newbies expirences [sp]. Third, maybe pick a week that has multiple groups, so you can pick which group most fits your vibe, when you are there, then return (and you WILL return) next time with that group. Also, just because you signed up with one group, doesn't mean you are committed to that group for the week, you can move on to other groups.
This is actually a difficult question for us to answer for you. Each of us loves the group we travel with, for whatever reason, which will be different from what you want. There is no beginners group, they all accept newbies.
In our case, the group we signed up with and travelled with the first time, was not quite our vibe, BUT the group from the previous week that we over lapped with was, so the following year we travelled with them. Only you can decide what is the best group for you.

See what times fit your schedule.
See what groups are going on those times.
Pick the group that looks like it fits you best.
    Book and go.
    Really that simple.

Hi there. Newbies are always welcomed with the Krewe de Krazy Life Group (June 16-23, 2018) and our 12th Annual Rendezvous in Paradise at Hedo will be no exception.

No responsibilities, no obligations, no hassles, no drama, no stress and always some Krewe member (identified by our beaded name/nickname necklaces and neon room-card bracelets) to ask for help or just to socialize make newbies comfortable in knowing there is always someone available to show them the ways of Hedo.

I suspect it is best to find a similar age/demographic group. Do not worry about the newbie thing.

I had the same question before our first trip this Aug. We ended up going with Tantric Hearts and loved it. A good portion of the people we met were also new.

We are going there this Saturday Nov 11-18 to give a try to "Hedo Love Fest"

I think, based on the title, the group that we fit in is: "Old FAT guys with HOT chicks"

I think that age doesn't matter as much at Hedo. I go with a group of long-time Hedo goers that's 10-20 years my senior for the most part, but we all get along great and I have awesome vacations with them.

It's really about what you want out of your Hedo vacation and finding a group that accepts you for who you are, and you accept them for who they are.

We all tend to be very laid back, and accepting of each other...and don't care for too much planning or schedules. Just the way I like it.

I'll just throw our groups website up here, www.rachalsrascals.com. We travel in May and November every year, and we, like many of the groups, are an age, shape, race, and lifestyle diverse crowd. There are lots of good groups out there, most of them offering similar pricing and perks these days, it really depends on when you want to go.
As was previously posted, check out the HEDO website for when you want to go, see what groups are traveling that week, read their bio, and maybe ask for input from people from the different groups.
But if your thinking of a May or Nov trip, and like tequila shots, please check us out.

Looks like the Rascals will be there next week. I can see tequila shots in our future.
