1st time to hedo booked! Wondering what it’s like without group?

We have booked our trip to hedo July 29 for a week. The more we read we see alot of people are going with groups. We are just wondering since we booked and there are no groups if the atmosphere will be less? Anyone know? We are open minded and fun and like to party. We are hoping that it’s everything poeple say and more.

The first time we attended was at Hedo III but was without a group and we quickly made friends. There may be a couple of group activities that you won't be able to do - these are normally group-specific but you won't otherwise have any issues at all. And the atmosphere will be no different. The group trips are fun but, unless you travel with a group on a routine basis it is not likely you will know anyone anyway. Just relax, have fun, and no stressing, Mon!

We just got back and went groupless on this trip. We loved every second of it, and did just fine without a group! Be social. Ask people about themselves. Go to the club Hedo desk and ask for a necklace with your name!! You’ll have a blast.

They “technically” only offer them to “club Hedo” guests (those who book direct with Hedo and not travel agencies), but if you ask, they’ll make you one!

We didn't book with a group and had a blast. We talked to a lot of people when we were there, both that booked on their own and that came with the group that was there. We weren't going there looking to "play", we're not in the lifestyle, but very open to new things in our sex life so went there more with the atttude that if we found the right situation we'd be open to dabbling. We could've played with folks that came with the group or who booked on our own if we chose to. Everyone was very friendly and there to have a good time. We had such a great time we booked for later this year already instead of waiting until next year. You'll have a blast.

There are upsides and downsides to booking with a group, but going as a "nomad" should not in any way detract from the experience. Its a great party no matter what!

I generally don't go with a specific group; however, I book with Tom's Trips. You will meet people and cross over the group lines :-)

It's a great time no matter what. Only difference the week you are going is that it is getting closer to the Jamaican Independence holiday, so there will be more locals there as guests. I'll be there with the AWOL group the week before and they start arriving as I am leaving. Have fun in the sun! Next time (cuz it is an addiction), check for groups. They can often save you $ and give you a contact peep for the week.
