don't know the cost, but they still provide the lessons. A message from their website should find you the cost.

You might want to take the online PADI course and pool sessions at home and then do your open water dives at Hedo. When I dove at Hedo in April, I found them to be very professional so no worries about the dive school there. The reason why you might want to do all the work at home before going is because of the lost time spend at Hedo. You'll be so busy taking dive courses that you'll miss out on a lot of the fun. Plus, think about the cost of your room at Hedo in the equation.

I agree with Goldorak. Do your home study and pool and classroom at home, then you can do your 4 open water dives at hedo. I know a few things about diving in co...I will send you a message.

We did our in class and pool lessons before we got to Hedo, then did our 4 open water dives at H2. Glad we did it that way as Goldarack stated. We were able to enjoy half of our vacation without worrying about how much we drank the night before. We did more pleasure dives after the certification during our stay at H2 Heading back in November. My husband wants us to do the deep water certification this time, which would take us down 120'. Pricing is reasonable. Orane was our dive master and was very clear and patient with our group. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Bas & Sus, Rob and I got our Advanced Open Water at H2 (as well as our initial open water). Orane was our dive master for the advanced certain. It was easy to do at the resort. We will be there this Nov. perhaps we will see you.
Note - Rob and I did our open water cer entirely at the resort; it is doable, but concur with others to do the book and pool work here and complete the open water at the resort. Love the entire dive staff at Hedo. They are great.

Hello Rob and Jo, looking forward to the advance dive cert. Was it a one day session? We arrive at H2 on Nov. 22, and leave Dec. 2nd. What dates will you be down at H2? It would be nice to overlap. Definitely agree the dive staff is excellent! Susanne & Baz

Hi - it was more than a one day session. There is some reading to do, and most of the skills are done while diving. If you are really comfortable with diving, then this is a good way to go for the advanced open water cert.

Back in SuperClubs days basically nothing was done if it did not pay for itself. I know they figure having free diving will get more customers to come, but I wonder how much of the equation was "Think of how much we will save if they can't drink while they are here!"

There is a "resort course", it has a cost but not too much. You spend about 45 min in the dive shack watching a video and have to pass a really easy test. Then you gear up and jump in the pool for a lesson. After that you can take a shallow dive with the dive master. It's not a full padi certification but I really enjoyed it as someone who has never been diving and am not planning on taking it up as a long term hobby.
