We went to sleep by 11 almost every night and missed a lot of the fun. If I were to do my last trip again, I'd take afternoon naps.

2017 - Returning to Hedonism II as a married guy with kitten + angel's Annual Spring Fling April 15th - 22nd
Since it seems a lot of experienced travelers are on this post I have a question. Me and my husband REAlLY want to go in 2018 if our finances allow. The thing is we are in our late 20's and we see that a lot of people on the thread are 40+. Will we be the lone young couple? Will older couples talk to us with the age difference?
Go during Young Swingers Week (YSW). Google it to find info.
Hedo II 4 Trips
Cap D'ade 2 Trips + Summer ‘21?
Desire RM 1 trip
Fact of the matter is that you will be one of the youngest people there. But Hedo people definitely won't pay any attention to the age difference, everyone is open to everyone :-)
If you yourself maybe think that it will 'affect' your experience that most people are older then Young Swingers Week is indeed the better week to go :-)
Either way: DEFinitely book! You're never going to forget the Hedo experience ;-)
Hedo II March 2023, I think March is our favorite month One Love!
Hedo II March 2022 was goooooood, first time YSW and an extra week before that. Met some awesome ppl again, so in love with this place <3
Hedo II March 2020, last guests there before the corona lockdown and our trip was cut short by a week, but it was GOOOOOOD
Hedo II March 2018, can't wait to go back!
Hedo II March 2017, first time and addicted since
Thanks for the info! We are a little more low key and not huge on the party scene. We were just kinda worried about how an older group might receive us.
And that older group is probably hoping that they will be well received by you also. Over the years we have hung out with peeps from 20's to 70's. Always had good times and conversation. If you go with a group, then yes, do your research and find the one that seems to be a good fit. If you go on your own, you'll be just fine. Most groups are very accepting and you will wind up hanging out with them here and there throughout the week. Once you're there, it's one big blend of people looking to have a good time.
True. If you want to be low key, and sort of feel out the waters check out the groups present when you want to book. Not all groups are listed around here though, some are subtle, like the Butt Cracks and Biffs bunch. Some are specific to a certain genre (Kink). Going without a group will let you sample the different groups on site at the time of your visit, but then you might miss out on the group rates for the resort. In any case all groups are usually welcoming, and age USUALLY isn't a issue. Consider that most of the older people aren't acting there age. The Hedonism web site has a list of most of the groups and when they are on site, as do the specific travel agents that book travel to this resort, Like Tom's Trips, Go Classy, Castaways, and Dennyp, to name a few.
Go and enjoy, you only ever live once.

A small observation from our two trips: We were in our early and late 30's when we went. We noticed that the younger crowd was not quite as open, carefree and "wild" as the more... experienced and seasoned folks were. The younger crowd was a bit more subdued and shy. I'm making generalities, and that's not a good thing, I suppose. But that was what we experienced while we were there. We were able to enjoy our trips because of the variety of ages, desires, etc. We found that we had a bit of a misconception when it came to how much fun we would have with this group or that group, or this age or that age and were happy to be pleasantly surprised! We hope you'll find the same variety - and the same fun, no matter what the age range!
Let us know how you liked it when you get back!! My husband is a little shy and nervous to book.
We wish we would have known how approachable everyone at Hedo is. The first time there we were too shy to start conversations for the first couple days. We learned quickly that people at Hedo are very nonjudgmental and all are very approachable. After that it was easy to make friends and our time there became even more enjoyable. We have made some Hedo friends for life. Do't be afraid to sit at empty seats at any table for meals. We are still looking for someone to instruct us on the proper way to adjust the water temperature of the showers.
