Actually they will at Hedo, security will give you a few minutes to settle in but after that complete nudity is required.

    From the website:

What exactly what does ‘Clothing-Optional’ mean?
If you choose to go topless or naked in the pool or at the beach, you may certainly do so. There is never pressure for you, or any guest, to do anything you might find uncomfortable. Our guests are mature, sophisticated and non-judgmental; a “live and let live” philosophy is key to the enjoyment of a liberating vacation. Cover-ups, however, are required where food is served, in the lobby and certain other public areas. And although guests are expected to be fully dressed in the nightclub, this does not mean that they cannot wear revealing outfits. On the contrary, we are very open to SEXY.

People will notice your nice smile much more than anything else.

Last April was our first time going nude and the apprehension was far worst than actually doing it. After a short time, it will feel natural to you.

Ignore the rude comment that someone else left here. Your question is perfectly valid because (1) you asked it and (2) what if it's a woman's time of the month. I know that the latter wasn't the reason for your question, but others might have been wondering the same thing as you for other reasons.

As a final point, when we were there, we found everyone to be extremely nice, polite and accepting. I don't think that this was an exception but rather the norm.
That is such a good point! A woman's time of the month hadn't even occurred to me!

Thank you so much for your reply. 😊

Though we did see a nude man at the beach party buffet. I was surprised that he was allowed to go through the lines and get food from the buffet that way.

Thats fine for the CLOTHING OPTIONAL part of the resort... but the nude side means nude not half nude because that would mean clothing optional then...

Our experience was that the "nude" aspect of the "nude" side was enforced. If folks meandered about the nude side with clothes on for even a short while, they were asked to shed them. Looking back, we didn't experience this personally since we typically were nude from the moment we left our room. Our preference was to be on the nude side for as much time as possible. But, if you'd prefer to have bottoms on the clothing optional (prude) side is a nice place to be too.

The original poster had asked specifically about the nude side, not the clothing optional side.

Point one: "What a dumb arsed question". That's a bit harsh. Questions are always welcome

Point two: "Girl, wear whatever the hell you want to. Bottoms are fine at the nude pool."

Respectfully disagree with this. I'm the male half btw and how long would I last by the nude pool with shorts on? Not long at all. I agree some circumstances arise when some one wants to wear clothes for whatever reason, and that's what the clothing optional side is for. Hell we hang out there nude when we need a break from the nude side. The nude side should be nude and if you want to wear bottoms or whatever you should hang out on the clothing optional side. If people start making exceptions then more and more people will be wearing clothes and it kinda defeats the purpose of the nude side.

Are you expected to be Nude at the Nude Beach and Pool / Hot tub?

Yes, you are expected to be nude at the Nude Beach and Pool / Hot tub; you are allowed 10 minutes grace period to disrobe and join the other sunbathers.

Hey pretty lady! It is correct that you will direct more attention to yourself if you are partially clothed and security will be all over that as we saw it many times on our last 3 trips. I am on the more voluptuous side and I blend in just fine. Ignore the "rude arsed" comment made earlier and ask any questions you may have. We are all here to help each other. Huge hugs babes!!!

Another point, some of the best times can be converting to nude while at the clothing optional side. It inspires the shy and shoves them (and you) towards the nude side.

    Thank you!

I feel that we will "just do it" lol. In fact, this may be my opportunity to get beyond the insecurities that have plagued me since my teen years with my midsection. It likely sounds silly of me, I know. But realistically, I think we all do have those areas that bother us. I'm average size and I workout regularly but not comfortable with my tummy.
I have never been a judgemental person - except when it comes to myself! Lol

    Hugs!!!

I can definitely see how it would be!
