It likely sounds silly of me, I know. But realistically, I think we all do have those areas that bother us. I'm average size and I workout regularly but not comfortable with my tummy.
I have never been a judgemental person - except when it comes to myself! Lol

    Hugs!!!
I work out regularly and I'm not satisfied with my tummy, or many other parts for that matter. But I love being naked at Hedo! And here is the kicker. While I'm thinking about all the parts I need to improve, I'm wanting to improve those areas to be more attractive to the ladies. Yet, while at Hedo, it's I've always been approached by guys who say "you really look like you work out." My wife calls it "man crush." I want "woman crush" but I get "man crush", lol.

Bottom line, here is the reality of our body image perception. When men look at women (and probably when women look at men), we first see all the things we like. We see what we consider to be the "good stuff". We aren't typically fixated on the shortcomings, in fact its just the opposite. We are drawn to what we like and find attractive. Now if you constantly draw our attention to the not-so-nice parts, we'll eventually notice that too. But why do that? Hedo is the kind of place where you can walk out naked, pretend you look good, and everyone there will treat you like you are the best looking thing to come along in ages.

Give it a try. You'll never turn back.

Wow!! Such a great perspective! Thank you!!!
You know, I think we (I know I do), get so fixated on things we don't like - and maybe more so as we try to improve them - that we don't look at the whole picture.

It's so true and your point really hit me because I know that I certainly see the attractive qualities of a person first thing and that is what I continue to see...

My wife has body image issues but I keep telling her how I just see the good things. Then when I wasn't sure about wearing something that she likes on me - because I felt it showed my midsection as too round, she reminded me that she just sees the good things as well. So, point taken.

Just get naked and have fun. It will be more enjoyable than you imagined. Our next trip begins Feb. 10 of 2018, please join us that week if you like. If I ever see you there, I'll make it a point to let you know just how good you look! (and naked hugs are really great!!!)

I have been working my ass off too for my Hedo Body, however when I was standing beside my wife i dont think anyone (men or women) noticed me haha Hedo is a great motivator to lose weight and be more healthy for me ... though there are all shapes and sizes at hedo and I believe all our fears where for nothing ... it is such an accepting place

No need to be rude. A simple question was asked. If you can't be civil then maybe this isn't the place for you.

Not true! If you are are not nude on the Nude Side security will tell you to get nude or go to the Prude Side. Seen it happen to a few people.

Complete nudity is mandatory on the nude side. And this rule is now enforced by security people.

I think the controversy in the comments is tied to the amount of time you may be wearing some clothing. I've been to Hedo multiple times and never had a problem if I wear a small scarf around my hips from my room to the nude beach. The important part is, as soon as I arrive to a beach chair, or a spot by the nude pool to drop my beach bag, I take off my scarf and put it in my bag. This gives me a little comfort covering a few imperfections during my walk, but then join the Hedo spirt and be as nude as everyone else from arrival at my destination until I put it back on when I leave that area for the day. I think a light scarf is more likely to be tolerated than a bathing suit or actual clothes.

What you can do is bring a large towel and throw this over your shoulder when you walk onto the nude beach, then you'll be covered a little. But once you reach your beach chair the towel has to come off...

But.. there is absolutely NO reason to be insecure! There are people there of all shapes and sizes, with and without physical handicaps, and nobody cares. From what I've seen, every woman is looked at in admiration :-)
    .

If it helps, I agree with Sabine's response. No need to worry at all. The clothing does need to come off if you are remaining on the nude side. I was asked nicely by one of the security guards to remove my clothing(not much to it just a sheer top, and bathing suit bottom), at around 2ish in the morning, while waiting for hubby to order a famous pizza for us to take back to the room. Now, the guard approached me very respectfully, and kindly stated that if I am want to stay in the nude area, I need to remove all clothing, or I could go just down the path in between the buildings and wait there for my husband and be fully clothed. I apologized and responded "no worries at all, I will undress" and thanked her. The guard thanked me and brought over a towel for me to sit on since I hadn't brought one with me. I felt it was extremely well handled with care by the guard, and undressed each time in future without being asked. Really, when I thought about it, we are at Hedo to be naked . From a female to a female, just feel good about yourself and all the discomforts will go away and you'll have a blast! Hoping you have/had a better time with the resort reno's on your 2nd trip!

The confusion seems to be arising from 'nude side'. Well the nude side covers the GVN - garden view nude and OVN - ocean view nude. If you are staying on this side, it is not obligatory that you have to be without clothes - you just have the option to be without clothes. Then there is GVP - garden view prude and OVP - Ocean side prude. Now here, also the same convention applies as the nude side. The only issue is, in the nude side one has the right to be nude, while on the prude side (if it was to happen) someone can object to you being nude, and by nomenclature, you have to respect that. The difference also is the nude side is a shorter walk to the nude entertainment areas while the prude side is a longer walk. Now, we always stay on the GVP side, and walk naked all the way to the nude pool, without anyone raising an eyebrow. No one ever has objected to it. Now, what people say as obligatory to go naked is the area where the nude beach starts, just after the diving shop and moves all the way to the nude pool bar and hot tub,. If you are anytime in this area, and are not nude, security will ask you to oblige. The principle is you cannot be not nude, and be there to watch others nude. Only exception to that we have seen is, they have allowed someone with mastectomy to cover the top. I hope this clarifies.

With all respect, that is not what Hedo states. On the nude side you have to be nude, on the prude side you can be nude or you have the option to wear clothing. So also no-one can object to you being nude on the prude side.

    From the Hedo FAQ website:
"What exactly what does ‘Clothing-Optional’ mean?
If you choose to go topless or naked in the pool or at the beach on the clothing-optional side, you may certainly do so. That said, once you are on the nude side – whether beach or pool – you are required to be nude."

I say just take it all off, you will feel sooooo liberated

Sabine's comments are the way I understand it to be currently. So we always stayed on the C/O side(formerly known as prude side) and just hoof it over nude to the Nude Pool/Beach Bar and hang out most of the day. Then we are closer to food and entertainment at night. We do plan to try GVN next time though.

Well we have been there 17 times and giving our observations. Some rules are applied, and some are not. After that each one takes their own steps as to what suits them.

My 2 cents... Wearing clothing on the nude side typically draws more attention rather than full nudity. If you are insecure, be prepaered for attention and inquiries about your clothing. I have also heard many chants of "take it off" when someone is on the nude side with clothing. The chants are all in good fun, but could be uncomfortable if you are insecure. I suggest a drink and go bare. Again jus my 2 cents.

What we have seen after 3 recent visits is that it doesn't matter which side your room is on,you can walk out of the room and to the beach or pool naked or clothed, it doesn't matter. Though the door to our last room was visible from the road, so we just wrapped up in a towel till out of sight, but it didn't seem like anyone was looking.
The pools and beach are a different story. Pride side or main pool, naked or not, it's up to you. Nude side pool or beach, you can walk down the beach or up to the pool or grill with something on, but if you stop and sit down or get in the pool, you have to take it off. If you don't within a few minutes, security will remind you that you have to be naked. Mrs AZ was asked to remove a light cover up at the nude grill.
