    Etiquette Question

I wanted to take a second to get thoughts on something...(random Sunday morning coffee thoughts by moi).

What is the dress code (or lack thereof) dress code on the nude side?

This will be Trip #2 for us, of what I suspect will be many many more...

I'm wondering if bottom covered on the nude side is ok? Be it bikini bottoms, a short sarong style scarf etc....

Going topless doesn't bother me at all...but my own insecurities make me more comfortable if I have at least a little something hiding my midsection.

Nude means nude. Jewelry, or maybe even a ponytail butt plug (which would make for one heck of a conversation piece) at the most is allowed.

On the nude side there are no clothes allowed, so that also means no bikini bottoms or cover-ups.

What you can do is bring a large towel and throw this over your shoulder when you walk onto the nude beach, then you'll be covered a little. But once you reach your beach chair the towel has to come off...

But.. there is absolutely NO reason to be insecure! There are people there of all shapes and sizes, with and without physical handicaps, and nobody cares. From what I've seen, every woman is looked at in admiration :-)

    Oooooh!! I'd do that! Lol

Thank you. Our last visit, which was our first, everyone was primarily on the one side due to construction etc...

    Thank you!
I feel like I'll always have these insecurities, though I don't verbalize them.

I guess this trip I'll just say Eff it and go with it!!

Do whatever you are comfortable with. If you want to be only topless, then the main pool, prude pool, or the prude side beach would be your best choice. If you decide after a while to lose the bottoms, which you probably will cause everyone else doesn't care, you can do it at all of these places too to start out. It's your vacation. Enjoy it. The rules on the nude side have to be enforced to keep out the clothed gawkers. I'm sure you will be fine. All the little hangouts at Hedo are great... Have fun!

What a dumb arsed question. If you've been before you already know. But just in case, what does nude mean? What does side, as in this side or that side, mean? Put them together, Nude Side.

I'm looking forward to meeting all the happy, fun loving, non judgemental people at Hedo that I've been reading about all over this site.

Well, that was rather rude. I was merely asking a question. So much for that whole "non judgemental mentality", huh?

As I mentioned above, being as our last time there, which was our first time, construction was taking place and usual sections were closed - the beach and pool seemed to have a mixture.

All those we met in December were great - guests and staff alike!

Girl, wear whatever the hell you want to. Bottoms are fine at the nude pool. Don't sweat it, its never been a problem at either HEDO's. (well now that 3 is closed). No one is going to throw you out for wearing bottoms at any pool at any resort, anywhere.

I understand where you're coming from, but think if it this way...If you go all nude, you'll just blend in and no one will pay attention to you. If you try to cover up, people will notice you and that should be much worst for your insecurities. My advice to you would be to just go for it and smile. People will notice your nice smile much more than anything else.

Last April was our first time going nude and the apprehension was far worst than actually doing it. After a short time, it will feel natural to you.

Ignore the rude comment that someone else left here. Your question is perfectly valid because (1) you asked it and (2) what if it's a woman's time of the month. I know that the latter wasn't the reason for your question, but others might have been wondering the same thing as you for other reasons.

As a final point, when we were there, we found everyone to be extremely nice, polite and accepting. I don't think that this was an exception but rather the norm.

You would be better served to remove your bottoms unless you have a good reason as mentioned because the fact is,bottoms make most butts look big!Same goes for clothes for most ladies in general as well,so keep that in mind and head over to the Nude Side as fast as your little feet will go!
