We Feel Like Traitors!

After 3 Hedo visits, we'll try a change. Today we booked Desire RM for early November. Will we be bored? Hope not but certainly don't expect the non-stop party of H2. I'm sure we'll have a blast and be back to H2 for the next trip. Just my guess.

Hello Happy2us: We had gone to Desire a few years ago, the place is beautiful, the food was good, it was spotless, but it didn't have the "VIBE" that Hedo has.... We have been to Hedo III, & to II about 5 or 6 times between the 2, and have found that the crowd @ Hedo was always nicer, happier, friendlier, more inviting, & more open, (for lack of a better description). For us it seemed like the crowd @ Desire was a little "klickish", and they were more occupied with how they looked, rather than having a relaxed, fun time. Just our perception....

Don't feel like traitors! A visit to somewhere new is always good! I have been to the original Desire twice and enjoyed both trips. You will find both pros and cons, but it is a nice resort. You will spend a lot of time comparing it to Hedo. Some people prefer Hedo, and some prefer Desire. It's all Irie, Mon!
Just be prepared to pack more clothes! Guys are required to wear much more to dinner than at Hedo. Most of the restaurants when I went required closed toe shoes for guys (no sandals or flipflops), as well as long pants and shirts with proper sleeves. It was amazing that he had to be fully dressed while I stood there in nothing but my chainmail dress and heals.
That was 2009, so they may have changed.

After HIII closed in 2010, went to H2 in '11.....havent been back, DRM is where its at. And if you stay at Pearl, you'll prob never go back. Too many good things to list here. In our minds, Hedo closed when 3 closed.

Wow, good stuff to know and check up on before the trip, thanks CG. All nice responses, thanks. I guess traitor was a bit strong but we don't get to the Carib too often and always want to make the best of it. I'm sure we'll have a blast and if the party isn't matching our H2 experiences, we'll make sure it does.
