To be honest arrivals may not be worth it but for departures it's great. We have opted for both in our last couple of trips and enjoy the service. We will continue using it both ways.
    Past Trips:

    October: 2016
    January: 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020

    Upcoming Trip: January 19th - 31st 2021

Here is our story. Trip 1: Arrive at MBJ, breeze through customs, get luggage, bus was waiting (Sun Holiday) and drove away as soon as we boarded. Trip 2: Arrive at MBJ. It looked like half of the world was traveling that same day. Spent over an hour getting through customs and out of the airport. Bus wasn't there. Waited another hour for bus to arrive. Trip 3: Club Mobay. Arrive at MBJ, they walked us through the VIP line, no waiting. Helped with luggage (almost no waiting). Took us to the arrival lounge to wait for the bus (Sun Holiday). Not much of a lounge, but they came and got us when the bus arrived (about a 20 min wait). Next Friday will be trip 4. We have Club Mobay both ways, so we expect to move fast through the VIP line and we have scheduled a taxi with Rocky's, so we expect them to be waiting when we arrive. Our flight is scheduled to arrive at MBJ around 1:30. I'm expecting this year to be naked in the pool by 4:00 pm!

The walk through immigration and customs make the arrival worth it alone for us. At customs we barely waved at the customs agent. No line just a walk through. Getting a bite to eat in the lounge before you head on the bus is good to...it's an hour and 1/2 ride to the hotel. Going out is great especially if your flight is late. Wish we had a ClubCancun.

I usually arrive on one the first flights in on a weekday. We've gotten through just as fast as others who've used club mobay. Now if you're arriving during a busy time, it's worth it. I'm leaving on a saturday afternoon this year, so I might go for it.

This past January, we were on the same flight as friends of ours...all going to Hedo. They booked Club Mobay, we did not. We had to wait for them, our customs etc went fast and we flew through.

We did arrive in Mobay on a Friday, we started going on Fridays because after standing in line for hours on a Saturday, we said never again. If you are going on a busy day, club Mobay is a great idea, if you are going on a less travel day, it may not be worth it.

We have also done the club on the way out...it was a Saturday...it was nice to bypass the lines and we got to spend time in their lounge, our flight was delayed and we were able to eat and have a cocktail (ok...we had lots) in the lounge. For us, it was worth it.

It seems every time we land there are anywhere from 3-5 planes doing the same........ We felt like cattle lined up for hours all trying to get through.. Only once did we not use Club Mobay...our first trip... Lesson learned!!

We do Club Mobay both arrival and departure... We have kids, 4 of them our youngest being 21, but when coming home I honestly don't want to be sitting in the airport listening to a screaming kid and a parent who can't control them.. Club Mobay has a family section...thank god..lol...

We feel it's well worth our money

We use it for both ways. When you get there, you will blow past the mile long lineup at customs. When you leave, you will do the same thing. Club Mobay lounge is all you can eat, all you can drink, free wifi and stay as long as you need till your plane get there. We were there 8 hours once when our plane was delayed. They have a Spa, showers and more. We find it is the best value money can buy. Highly recommended

The last time we went to Jamaica we waited 2+ hours in the customs line. That will not be happening again. We will be making use of Club MoBay in September.

You are rolling the dice on arrival, there is no way to know how many flights will arrive close to the same time as yours. You could breeze right through immigrations and customs, or you could be stuck sweating in a slow moving line for 2 hours or more. Having done that more than once, we always book Club Mobay for both arrival & departure.

We've used Club Mobay for arrival 3 of our 4 trips. We typically fly in and out on a Saturday and it seems that 3 or 4 other planes all land around the same time. The arrival lounge is a great pit stop to get a snack and a drink before heading out to our taxi ( Alrick from Your Jamaican Tour Guide). They usually are nice enough to fill our 32 oz mugs with rum punch or any other cocktail for the drive to Negril. The departure lounge is very nice with food and drinks. If you're wanting to stay on the beach till the very last minute the lounge has a shower for your use.

Check your arrival schedule on www.mbjairport.com/arrivals. If you have 3-5 planes landing about the same time as yours, absolutely go for Club Mobay arrival services. If you are arriving at a quiet time, then it's not much of a time gain, IMHO, but still it is convenient. The young lady who escorted us through the airport was very nice, we liked her. It took us about 2 hours after landing to step on Hedo grounds, judging from the long lines at immigration I think we may have saved probably an hour, or so.

We arrived on the red eye from LA and not a soul in the terminal. Was fantastic! Can highly recommend TimAir too, Montego Bay to Negril in 16 minutes. We had a mid morning departure and once again, no one to be seen. Then we had a three hour delay so utilised Club Mobay. Was perfect for that.

Look at the arrival schedule for MBJ on the day you arrive. If there are lots of flights in can get busy in the arrivals hall. Hint, the automated machines at the far side of the arrivals hall are faster. We always us the Departure lounge as the food and drinks are really good.
