BTW, what's in a Bob Marley?

I'm not sure...they are shooters comprised of liquors that are the colours of the Jamaican flag, then lit on fire and drank through a straw in a single sip. Can't wait to have one in a few weeks.

The dirty banana & the hummingbird sound like they could be contenders, but the idea of the Pepsi with water on the rocks could be good as a mid-drink 'calmer'.

We tried the WooWoos previously but we're terrible at shots (unless it's a rum cream luge shot!).

The pecan whiskey sounds interesting, but we have moral standards and can't be bought or bribed....... so the winner is pecan whiskey....yaaaaay. We lied about the moral standards!

I think the drink being referred to is a Flaming Bob Marley. Here is the recipe I found on drinksmixer.com...

Divide a tall shot glass into thirds, fill the lowest third with grenadine syrup, the middle third with creme de menthe, and float 151 proof rum in the top third.

Wet a thin straw, light the 151 by passing a lighter over it, plunge the straw to the bottom of the glass into the grenadine syrup and suck. If done rapidly and correctly the straw will not melt, and you can observe flames travelling up the inside of it. Stop sucking when the flame is inside the straw.

I don't think I will try it...it sounds sickly sweet and I also have a full beard so I am definitely a fire hazard!

I'd suggest hitting up every color of he rainbow, and of course, purple. Purple Rain is pretty good. The prude side bar makes the best mojitos. All the drinks will taste differently depending on your bartender.
The prude side bar has excellent bloody marys depending on the bartender. !8 days is more than enough time to get through all the colors and then some! Be careful of how much red and blue you consume, it'll turn your tongue that color!

I'm not a fan of sweet drinks and I don't remember it tasting sweet, but then again, it has been a VERY long time since I had one or was at Hedo so my memory could be failing me. It could also be that the couple of nights that I indulged, I had a lot of shots to drink (kamikaze, B52s, Bob Marleys, Cement Mixers (hated them), slippery nipples, sex on the beach...). I was always the designated driver at home and thought I'd loosen up at Hedo.

As for the fire hazard, you might have a point...

We primarily drink Red Bull and Vodka at home.. they sell cans of Red Bull in the gift shop for $4 and you can just ask for ice/vodka in your cup and mix it yourself.

You put rum cream in a cup, the lady gets up on the edge of the pool (usually where the stool/seat is) faces away, arches her back, someone pours the rum cream starting from the back of her neck, it runs down her back, thru her crack and into your waiting mouth.
