Car vs. Bus ?
So why have I been taking the bus all of these years? The current 'deal' I was offered was almost $40 per person each way ($160 a couple RT) for bus transfers. You get to the airport and wait inside for a while, buy a couple beers, they put you on the bus and wait until it is filled up which in all can be an hour or more, the bus makes a stop for about a half hour so the bus driver can sell you weed and collect his $1 per beer off of the sales, you stop at hotels along the way to drop people off which takes more time....
This time we took a car with Linley Grant 'Mr. Reasonable' and it was $130 RT, he meets you right outside of the front door, grabs his car, he has beer on ice already for you at no charge, all the way no stops unless you want to...Here's his link - http://mrreasonableja.com
We get into the car and we find out his wife worked at Hedo for over 20 years! He knows just about everyone on the island and many at Hedo and can take you or a group on day tours to Bob Marley museum, grave site or wherever you want on the island. Coolest part is he knows the history too which no stoned bus driver will care to tell you.
Did the transfers just go up in price over the past few years to make a car so much better or was it people never bothered to tell me???
