Well if those are indeed the GROUP rates (as opposed to the rack rate), then we will be scaling back our number of days at the resort.

    Long time ... no see.

Then you break down, pay the extra.
You get there and find yourself covered in construction noise and dust.

Remember, everyone says "No one goes for the room anyway" Honestly, since our Hedo3 days, this price is up around 400.00 in 7 years. (H3 closed in Aug 2010) Not the least bit expensive. Our trip coming up to RM is about 600 more. And we are ok with that. Prices are up everywhere, on everything. Good luck,..
My goodness, I have nothing to add to this discussion, but you have the best avi on this whole site.

Hi... Yes we noted a crazy increase in price since 2015 too.....partly explained by the exchange rate, but still! We shopped around though and managed to book through Kenwood Travel from the UK at a better rate. Try them next time....xxx

Why is that as soon as the question of price comes up it turns into a competition to prove the person that posts it wrong? Let's put a different angle on it, firstly we are going back this year and love it.
Firstly, we all agree that the entertainment, experience and fun you can have at Hedonism II, CANNOT be had anywhere else, (well, that I know of). 2/ the food is very well done, the staff are great.
At other hotels, the staff are great, the food great, many are better equipped/ more modern. The trouble is, you can't get naked, they don't have the theme nights.
Price - it is costing us all in, around £5200.00 for 17 nights. Friends of ours are going to Negril, dont know where, but all inc. for £1200.00 all i for 14 nights. I have done a quick check on Virgin, a package holiday, 17 nights, the same dates as ours for between £3700.00 & £3800.00 all inc. so where did the exchange rate go for these holidays, was this because of Brexit or Trump.
We have been to many naturist places here in England and Europe, we have priced many holidays further afield. It is always the same. If you want to get naked it is more expensive, end of. This may not be the same for Americans or Canadians, but this is definitely the case for us.
I look forward to getting shot down for this.....

Apparently, I need to start booking my vacations from England! Those prices are much better than what we can get from Canada.

... before anyone says anything... I'm kidding... I know there are issues with booking through another country and regional discounts that would F things up...

Also, I thought Hedo was expensive until I tried to book a Disney cruise!!! $13,000 CAD for 7 nights, not even during peak season!!! You get one room which is smaller than a room at Hedo, being naked is really frowned upon, and many things on the cruise are extra...

Adult only or Nacations are expensive... Kids vacations are retarded!

There is no doubt it is not cheap to visit Hedo, especially with the price of air fare these days.
It simply comes down to if you can afford it or not and if it's worth it to you.
And I do feel bad if someone can not afford it.
Everyone should be able to enjoy it.
But compared to other resorts and what you get being all inclusive, and then you add in diving, snorkeling, boats, etc, all included.
Comparing it is a pretty good deal.

That is the other one that always comes up, blah, blah, blah, so much smaller, blah blah. Obviously there are places much dearer, there are places much cheaper. I was stating like for like.
I still really don't get why just because you can get naked, you have to pay through the nose.
I suppose it's like women's pants, the smaller they are the dearer, (the less you wear, the dearer).

sign said "river boat cruise 25 cents" the man without 25 cents said ain't that cheap. Guess it just boils down to the have and have not's, or supply and demand, sad but true. When there is a clothing optional resort on every corner we won't pay extra to get naked. I know several people that would love to see my wife naked, but I spend money, and fly half way around the world to let folks see her for free, go figure. I guess we are paying to see your wife, that makes me feel better.

Steve, if you pay me to see my wife naked, we could afford to go more often.

You cannot Compare Hedo to Sandals for the hotel experience. Sandals properties are considered top end with more restaurant choices, better food and way better rooms unless you pick one of the updated rooms at Hedo which are still small compared to Sandals. We recently stayed in an Azul property with a jacuzzi , swimout room, four poster bed , stocked fridge, double sink bathroom with a huge two person shower and 6 resturants for about half of Hedos rates. Being naked does not cost Hedo one cent extra. That being said, the hotel experience at Hedo is not up to other properties for the price, but the fun factor, entertainment and guests are what makes Hedo special. If those are no longer offered at Hedo the resort would probably shut down.
