Best time to go?

We could not get into Hedoween for 2017...what a bummer...and we called after we got home last Nov..already filled!!!....So we will be there Nov 4-14th..P.S..we were able to get there for Hedoween the last couple of yrs...go figure!!!

Who did you call? Many groups, travel agents, will book a full week, then try and sell those days to THEIR guests. The resort may not actually be booked up, it's just that some group has Block, RESERVED many rooms. Although you have already booked, purhaps others reading this post will check the dates in question, with the standard travel agents that sell for this resort.
As well, I think a few weeks before the actually travel dates, Travel agents are required to return unsold rooms to the resort.

I think the best week to go also depends on what you are "looking" for at Hedo. Do you need to be part of a big group to feel like you are having fun? Are you looking for people the same "age/color/nationality" as you are or are you comfortable hanging out with anyone? Are you a swinger and thus want lots of "selection" to choose from? Are you looking for higher energy or a more relaxing vacation? I have been 6 different times and experienced several different groups that I would not book with again and will make sure to to avoid if I can. Unfortunately, the rules on the resort are not always the same depending on the groups in house. And some groups go out of their way to exclude non group members. This is not true of all groups and many groups welcome everyone. Also, some of the trips were when Super Clubs still owned the resort. Now that Harry is in charge, I have seen the group situations improve.
You need to make a list of what you are looking for in your vacation, figure out what weeks work for your vacation schedule, and then look at the groups that are scheduled for that week. Some groups are very women/bi oriented, some groups are focused on age or nationality. So if you are hoping to swing, you need to do some research to find the group that meets your needs. The resort was less than 50% full this past week. If I had still been a swinger, that would have been disappointing. But since we were there on our honeymoon, we were perfectly happy to have a quieter, relaxing atmosphere where we could focus on each other. If you are going to Hedo to enjoy nekid time with your own spouse, then you don't have to worry as much about the groups. We never had lines at the restaurants/bars. Floats and chairs/tables were easy to get. This was the first time I have ever been able to actually get a seat around the piano in the Piano bar for example. We had front row seats for the evening shows and the dance floor had plenty of room! Hedo is awesome whenever you go, but your idea of a perfect vacation differs from what others want. Guest need to decide what they want out of their vacation, then research the vibe at a given time when they want to travel. We've never had a bad time at Hedo, but some times, we are put to the test. LOL
