    Newbies Feb 25-28. Anyone going?

Hi everyone! Newbies here, have recently dipped our toe into the lifestyle waters so decided to up the ante with a quick trip to Jamaica. We will get warmed up at Couples Swept Away before ending things with a bang! Well, we hope. We have an ocean view room on the nude side. Any tips from vets is always appreciated. I'll start things off with a silly logistics question. So I read the nude pool is "full nude mandatory", do people walk naked right from their room to the pool? Or are you "allowed" to undress poolside. Maybe I'm a prude but would rather have my clothes within arms reach just in case of....well, not sure. But just askin'. Thanks in advance! My better half will be using this account and chiming in as well with random questions.

You can walk from your room with or without clothes. We usually walk over with clothes on but go back to the room without clothes. That is one of the things we like about Hedo. When we are at Couples Negril we hate getting dressed just to go to the room. You will love it. We are counting down to April.

You can walk to the pool dressed and undress there if you like. Just a caution depending on where your fears may lie that when you get to the pool you will be expected to strip relatively quickly. No one minds if you come clothed but looky-loos are frowned upon. We watched one couple show up to the pool and freeze like a deer in the headlights which drew a lot of unwanted attention. However you choose to get there doesn't matter though. About thirty minutes in the pool with a cold drink in your hand and a half dozen new friends later you will wonder why we ever wear clothes at all. The rules are not that strict and are just meant to keep people from hanging out on the nude side clothed. We tend to be like whodohedowedo and walk to the pool dressed and then go back to the room naked. Have a great trip, you are going to love it.

My advice would be to Skip Couples altogether. This is not a criticism of Couples as we have never been there but there is simply no way it can be as friendly as Hedo.

Hello Fred and Betty. My best advice is when you arrive, go to your room and undress, and head for the pool. You can walk most of the resort in the nude anyway. Carry a beach towel if you want some back-up cover. We also arrive on Feb. 25th, so if you need me to give you an escort from your room to the pool (just so you won't feel like the only naked people there), just let me know, lol.

Also a newbie couple coming in from WI. Will be there 2-24 to 2-28. First time at Hedo and we've dipped only once before so we'll see what happens.

Great, much appreciated everyone. Not sure what shenanigans we will get ourselves into but should be a fun few days! Anyone else going during this time? Quick bio on us - 42 (m) and 37 (f), fit, educated professionals from Chicago. Very new to the scene, still feeling our way around. No pun intended! But also open minded. Hope to see some of you down there!

One of the big benefits of staying on the nude side of the resort is that it's a really quick trip from your room to the nude beach / nude pool, with no clothing required. We take a beach bag with us, throw our beach towels, sunscreen, and a few other supplies in there, and then walk to the pool donning nothing but flip flops. They have little storage cubby shelves for bags and flip flops, or you can try and commandeer a chair if there are any empty. Leave your valuables in the room safe.

if you are looking for a little more privacy for your first nude trek to the pool, stay on the asphalt path and walk through the little jungle area. You will probably bump into a few people on your way, but they will likely be naked too, so it's no big deal. I personally like a leisurely stroll on the nude beach for my first trip to the pool when I arrive. That way I get to take in a little scenery and ease into things on my way. By the time I hit the pool bar, I'm in the mindset to just chill.

If you are like Rob and myself we are very fortunate in that everyone has their attention on our wives and not us. We could wear clown costumes and pull a red wagon behind us and no one would notice. Thanks to all the lovely ladies who take the attention off from us men. LOL

Hi Fred and Betty! We'll be arriving Feb 25th, staying 9 nights. Second trip to Hedo, and last time we overlapped with friends who've been there may times, so we can help you get oriented. It would be great to connect! Email us if you'd like and we'll set something up. (Some details about us are in our bio.)
