    Shipping luggage to hedo

Has anyone done this so it's already there when you arrive? Would it disappear going through customs? Any advice would help as I might like to send some apple pie moonshine over to share with friends.

too expensive, it cost $160 for a letter envelope with fedex. You would need ship by sea container and it may sit in customs for months hostage waiting for you to pay for it's release

You know you can bring alcohol in with you in your checked bag... no need to ship it. You can even have a second checked bag if you need to and it would be cheaper than shipping it.

Not sure my stomach can take the strong stuff... but I'll sure give it a try Jimbo.

I brought a 60 of rye whiskey with me one year because I knew there wasn't any at the resort I was going to (not Hedo)... I had no issues. As an incoming tourist, I don't remember even having to declare it.

You are allowed to import 2 liters of alcohol into Jamaica without paying any import duties... you can bring in more, but you may have to pay duties on the extra. Also, you said it was moonshine... if its commercially sold and unopened, it's OK. Illegal moonshine made at home or in the back woods is illegal everywhere... could get you caught when leaving the US or entering Jamaica.

    look forward to trying it.

    Pierre.
