    Hedo Newbies First Visit March!

Me and the wife finally pulled the trigger and are heading down in March for our first visit. Couple newbie questions...

    1. Because we booked late we ended up on the Prude side...What is the etiquette for dress/nude once we leave the room? Do we were clothes/bathing suits till once we get to the other nude side? How far is it between areas?

    2. Is there a nude and prude beach as we prefer beaches over pools?

    3. What are the beverage options? Not to sound Prude but we tend to drink more wine than anything else, are there any decent options to buy better bottles of wine as I know the house stuff tends to be rough...?

    4. Is the nightclub open every night and do people go nightly or is there a better night?

    2. There is a nude beach and a clothing optional beach.
    3. There is wine bar and a wine shop offering a fairly large selection of "premium" wines.
    4. The nightclub is open every night. If the foam party is in the nightclub (Thursday) then it tends to be more popular. In general, the nightclub participation depends on the crowd that week.

    1. has many answers. Some walk from their "prude side rooms" in the nude on the way to the beaches. You can walk into the nude beach fully dressed (swim suit, beach wrap, towel wrap, shorts & shirt) until you arrive at you destination (say, a beach lounger) and there you are expected to join the nude beach concept right away.

    1) You can walk nude anywhere, either side of the resort, no problem at all. On the nude beach or pool, you must be clotheless.

2)Nude beach is much more fun than the prude beach. If you want some quiet time, prude beach is perfect. Nude beach is also super close to the nude pool/hot tub which is fun for occasional cool offs or heat ups (depending on what's going on in the pool. The nude bar is between the beach and pool.

    3) They have a wine bar (extra cost) and sell better bottles than the bars have. You can also buy at duty free and bring the bottles to the resort.

    4) Nightclub if you mean the disco is not open every night and really isn't heavily used. It's scheduled for a renovation at some point (badly needed). Since the foam party was moved outside, I don't know if the disco is currently used for much at all. Now the piano bar is used nightly and is a nice diversion and can be fun on the right evenings.

The distance from prude side to nude side is really nothing. You'll be able to walk from one side to the other in under 5 minutes...probably more like 3 or 4...unless you run into one or two of your "friends".... then it could be an hour or two

We always book the prude side just for the cost difference; plus we enjoy the walk. March 17-25th will be our 4th trip.

As the others have said, you can walk from the prude side nude...no problem mon.

My wife and I also prefer the beach versus hanging in the pool...so if we are there during the same time... you'll find us there.

How early do you need to book the restaurants and do they charge extra? Also do you need to book the transfer from Montego Bay to the resort in advance or are there drivers/taxi/buses waiting?

When we were there last Feb. the restaurants were on a first come, first serve basis, if they are full they will take your name and give you a return time. We had no issues getting in when we wanted to and there is no extra costs, although we do prefer the dinner buffet mainly. Transfer from MBJ can be done many ways, lots of buses/shuttles, taxis always there. I would suggest contacting Rocky's Tours and lining a ride up if you have no plans at this time, they are very reliable and the quickest way by ground at about $80 USD one way per couple. When are you going to be at Hedo? www.rockystaxiandtourservice.com

There aren't any reservations at the restaurants anymore, or charges for booking if you could... but I think if you have a large group they ask that you let them know as a courtesy to help with seating or let you know if it's possible.

There is another recent thread with lots of information regarding transfers to the resort from the airport... I won't repeat it all here, just look for it. But most would recommend you book ahead of time.

We are going March 11th thru 18th, thanks for the advise about Rocky's. Have you been there often? It's our first time and try to see what to expect.

This will be our 5th trip to Hedo II, expect an all inclusive vacation with a lot of very friendly, happy and naked everyday people - it is a very social environment compared to any other all inclusive resort. The night life is great there from the dinner buffet and seeing all the woman dressing sexy in lingerie and costumes, etc. to the nightly stage shows and piano bar, hot tub and playroom, it goes till about 3AM, every night (not that we can keep pace). Then of course naked all day at the beach and nude pool/bar. Look forward to meeting you guys, we will arrive at the resort about 5-6PM on the 15th, can't wait!!

Right on, we'll see you there, don't be shy when you get there, get down to the nude beach/pool and get naked, the sooner the better, if you don't, you will regret it. see you there.

We will look for you M&M, I don't suppose you will be wearing a Calgary Flames jersey. We will be the non-tanned newbies from Ontario.

HaHa, we'll be wearing a lot less than a Flames Jersey, we'll be the non-tanned, big smiley new faces showing up for dinner on the Wednesday night (Mar. 15).
